I answered, and it was a recording saying that there was a civil complaint filed against me, and they were going to serve me with papers, and to call 831-275-5959.  Nope.  Sorry.  Not doing it,.

I got the same call and the same message was left on my answering machine.

I didn't answer the call and a voice-message was left with the same erroneous bogus malicious scam message about a civil complaint filed against me. I hope people google this page before answering.

I got the exact same call around 12:38pm. I've had the same call from a different number as well.

I got a call and they left no message. I called the number back and it just rang and rang with no answer.

Got a call via ans machine...said I got case nbr. but didnt say from whom or what. I returned call but no one picks up. I knew it s scam.

Same thing - total scam.  Not the first call like this I've received, just a new number. Blocked number, problem solved   :)

Got a call this morning as well, recorded message....THIS IS A SCAM, so please everyone, do not give them any personal information as they can use it to their advantage ...and if there was truly a civil complaint, they have to send this in a formal letter first....

i too recieved a call from Kim Preston. I am reporting her to the attorney general FTC and fbi - I have had enough of these stupid phone calls! Don't let any one threaten u into paying anything! What they are doing is beyond illegal!!

I got the exact same call at 2:08pm today.  Same name, message and number.  WTF?!  In any case, blocked number and am calling this a total scam.

I had the same call. I answered the call and it was a recording saying their name was Kimberly and the were going to serve me papers at my home address or at my place or employment and that I had to call another number and if I wanted to be connected I should press 1. I pressed 1 twice and nothing happened, so I called the number back and all I got was ringing. There is no way in heck, I am going to call the other number.

Definite scam, and I would never give out my personal information to anyone over the phone claiming to be some sort of "authoritative figure".
