no message..but got 3 calls from this number

I have gotten several calls from this number, not sure how to locate which phone company owns them so I can report the abuse.

Repeatedly recieved calls from someone or something identified on caller ID as "YPR".  Never leaves message, if call answered, there is no responce.

Got another call today. They called once on Thursday. It went to voicemail and no message was left.

Same deal with me.  no message.

They're out of Fresno, Ca.
Telephone company is Pac - West Telecomm
I'm not willing to pay for the reverse phone detectives to tell me who they are.
If anyone complains, or finds out more, please repost.

several calls from this caller 2 to 3 times per day!  I never pick up the call since I don't recognize the number, but this caller has attempted calls to my home @ least one time per day for 2 weeks now.

I'm sick of this sh*t!!!

Been receiving numerous calls from this number since end of June. No response when call is answered & when i call it back says number out of service. However I did just call PAC West Telecomm 877-626-4325 and found it that they do oversee the number and lady advised me she will email the company and have them remove my number from their call list.

Just signed up with Comcast digital as well....

They call every evening at 6:45 PM Eastern.  When answered, they do not respond....I am about to take a flame thrower to that place.

I answered.  It is Yellow Pages Research.  They're calling to see if you've gotten a phone book!!!

We just got digital phone through TWC.  I think that's the common ground here.  i'm betting everyone recently got new phone service.

Not sure why they don't respond sometimes.  I'm guessing they've got automatic dialers and not enough people to take the call when someone does answer the phone.  The call was over so quickly, i forgot to ask.

Same here. They have called a total of 26 times over the past week. Quite Annoying...NO messages left and when you answer there is no one on the other line. Just switched phone service too.....

Repeated calls from YPOR or YPR, several times a day, at all hours, even on weekends.  Used to get calls from (440) 331-6633 (Milwaukee), now from (559)272-6410 (Fresno).  Usually hang up, sometimes ask if we got our phone book, twice asked for a credit card number to 'complete a purchase'.  I never purchased a thing from them.  Reported both to FCC as I am on the no call list.  I searched online and found that these [***] are Yellow Pages Opinion Research, calling to see if you do or do not answer your phone.  It was suggested that you not answer the calls to demonstrate that you are not a prime candidate to be swindled over the phone.  I too started getting these calls when I switched phone service.

Imalso recieve calls every day from this # but refuse to answer.They never leave a message either.

As with many of the previous poster's responses, I get the 559-272-6410. I wish to find a way to stick it in their you-know-where and tell them that they will be expecting a call from my lawyer as it is a form of harrassment.  Geez.  Don't they know that calling someone repeatingly is against the law.

Did they stop calling you after you answered their call?

That is a grand idea. I will call FCC and report abuse. Hopefully they will stop.

I to just switch to Comcast phone digital phone service.  I have taken the call, and no one is there, I contacted the number back, and it tells me to enter my phone# and they will remove me from the list.  I am afraid to leave my number in case of a scam.  I to am on the Do Not Call registry.  I guess I am going to be contacting Comcast since this all started once I started service.
