Unasked for text of a mortgage refi quote came up on my cell phone. Sent me a blurry image and a pdf (which I didn't download of course) with the following:
"Hi xxx, Your request with Case Number xxxxx_×××× is still pending. Based on your case, it seems we may be able to get you a better quote.
To see updated mortgage rates available for your home at ×××× xxxxxx Rd, please confirm your file is accurate https://crmrefi.com/xxxxxxxxx"

Phone number was (720) 409-0946. Unprompted receipt of a pdf via text that you can’t read with the following message:
Hi xxx, Your request with Case Number xxx is still pending. Based on your case, it seems we may be able to get you a better quote.
To see updated mortgage rates available for your home at xxx , please confirm your file is accurate https://crmrefi.com/xxx

I received a spam text, same as other people, with a PDF indicating I could be eligible for a refinanced mortgage. I don't even own a home!  THis is very annoying, as it makes me worry there is identify theft at a more serious level, though I doubt it.
