Called and left no message, Other sites reported this a scam debt collector so wanted to add it here.

Went ahead and blocked the number

Same old scammers, Data Check.  Block their number, don't call them back.  Claiming collecting on bounced checks from 15 + years ago, but REFUSE to send any documentation, probably because they do not want to get hit with a mail fraud charge.  Do not give them any information!!!

Same old meth-head, redneck, bumpkin scammers. What professional uses terms like "forked out" to mean 'distribute funds" ? BLOCK THEM OR THEY'LL KEEP CALLING.

calls daily and doesn't leave a VM... Officially blocked and reported on many sites.. If I ever talk to someone, I will be recording it with my app and let them know I will be sending that recording to a Government official... DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO ABOUT YOURSELF

Its a SCAM  They do not even know who they have called.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY

My daughter got a call from them yesterday.  She called me last night and told me they said she has a outstanding check and she needed to pay $400 to clear it.The check is from 1998.   She said she told them she did not feel comfortable giving her credit card number over the phone.  They told her they would report it to her credit report.  After talking with her I realized it was a scam.  I then told her if they call again to have them call me.  I told some co-workers today and a few of them said they had received similar calls.  FYI, just because they have a local number does not mean that is the location they are calling from.  Anyone can go online and get a phone number for any location they want.

3 days in a row now for this call ... never answered but got my answer here. I am TIRED of all these calls. And the worst part about this one is ti shows Kingsburg, CA. and I live only a couple towns away so local calls sometime may seem legit but thats their thing now is faking local numbers to get you to answer. If I had a dime for all the out of state and random calls I get every day I would be rich. Thanks for the info here so I know now I can block this number.

I've received the same automated message for approximately two months now, not only from this number, but various others, coming from four different states. I've tried contacting them, leaving a message and staying on the line of which nothing worked. HOWEVER, about a month ago, my bank account was hacked. Coincidence???? there have been many reports of people accessing personal information through cell phones. I hope these jerks are caught and prosecuted!

That is basically what I got and when I asked for documents they want to send me to a website, NO you can send it to me.  I've been hung up on because of it.  But then I block their number and once they start calling you they have you in their system and they just change their number and keep calling.  I have had the same recording from 3-4 numbers now.

Datacheck scam.  Endless scamming calls concerning supposedly bad checks .  Some nearly 20 years old!
