Called. Did not leave message. Blocked call. Don’t know anyone in Caruthers, Ca.

Same fireman's fund charity SCAM (I called # back and got a recording that there was no one in at this charity scam). Same guy with deep voice asking for me by first name that has called here several times in the past from different numbers (he has a very distinctive deep voice) so when I heard it I yelled a cheery FU and hung up. Then used my call blocker to block # and the area code since I know NO ONE in the Fresno area. Seems he always calls when there are active fires in CA. SHAME ON THEM!

Did not answer but my cell caller ID said it was a telemarketer. Blocked this number.

Called asking for me by my first name and said he was with the veterans association

Deep voice, asked for Michael, sounded like recorded.  Block

SCAM.. He asked for a random name, I said wrong number, he then tried to scam me for "veterans donations".

Scammer. Don't answer the call, as this [***] will sell your number on the "sucker list" to other scammers.

The number just called me. I didn't answer, no message left. Judging by the notes left, junk call.

“Fireman’s fund”

I gave $25 to a Police Union charity fund a couple of months ago (big mistake), and now I'm getting calls from every flipping charity in the world, including this one, Fireman's fund. So unfortunate, one you give money for a supposed good cause, they sell your info and you get calls from everyone. Sadly, it just doesn't make sense to give to ANY charity that proactively calls you, because you'll get hit up a hundred-fold with calls shortly thereafter.

Called my cell phone a few minutes ago. Indicated that call came from Caruthers, CA, but no name. Didn’t answer. No message.

Again a guy with an exaggerated deep male voice, didn't wait for a hello, just asked if "Marie was there." Told him in an equally exaggerated deep male voice, "You got the wrong number, pal" and hung up before he could start his scam spiel   XD

Caller did not leave message. However, my smart phone tagged it as scam.

Called my cell 09:01, asked specifically for me! Funny, my cell announced call as likely to be scam. He then stated he was from the veterans affairs...after several attempts, I managed to inform him, I refuse to give money for scam callers and to Please, remove me from All of your solicitation lists!   We'll see if my request is respected.

Asked for me by my first name. Man with a pretty bland voice said he was from some veterans association, asking if he sent an envelope would i sent a donation. but would only send it if i was committed to donating. When I asked the name of the association so i could look it up, he rushed off the phone. Sounds sketchy to me!

Called my cell back in December 2018, do not answer numbers I don't know,  but because I do have relatives in the 559 area decided to look it up, glad I did seeing all these repirts.
