I appreciate your desire to screw with them, but if they offer to meet, don't do it without the police along.  Some scammers are dangerous.  I know of a case where cleaning people were bribed so that a mark could be taken inside a bank as part of a 419 scam.  The mark turned up dead.  It didn't happen in the U.S., but still, watch yourself.

I got a call yesterday Jan 29th, 2013 from Matt Wieser,  I looked him up and he is a retired 65+ guy living in Florida - I could hear all the other cold callers in the background talking to other 'customers'.  Their address is 5301 North Federal Hwy, Suite 100, Boca Raton Florida  33487.  They called me on telephone number 561-241-6420.  They call themselves As Seen On TV Productions,  and I checked with As Seen On TV people who are owned by TVGoods Inc.  and this company is nothing to do with them.  It seems you can name your company whatever you want, and go forth.  Anyway,  they do make a small commercial for you worth about $1500.00 and put it on the internet.  I checked out 3 of them and noticed no one looks at these. That's what you get for your $10-14,000.00  dollars.   So stay far away from this group.  If it sounds too good to be true it is!

Some guy named Matt Wiser called this morning from a company "As Seen on TV Productions" asking to speak with the president of the company inquiring about our products. I took a message and then googled the P# right away 561-241-6420. And just as I thought it was a fake company.

You are so right. I cannot believe I fell for their phone call. Good thing I looked up online and found this. Thank you.

I got a call from a phone number 561-826-1697 callers Name William Mott. He said he is from As Seen On TV Productions and they are interested in valuate my Products to check them for TV Ads. He offered me 150 TV Spots at Prime Time, I have to select 3 Markets on my own. After the Product Check will turn out positive I should pay 15.7k$ upfront. This made me very suspicious. The usual way is that they keep 10$ from each 19,95$ sold item and you keep your 9.95 to cover your expenses and have your profits. The Ads are paid by ASOTV themself, because they just buy wholesale and sell on their own retail on TV. The real ASOTV IS located in Clearwater, FL not Boca Raton, FL. And this number from Mr. William Mott seems to be a Beauty Salon where he called from. The strange way how to call him was to leave a message and re call him quick again so he knows its you then he will pick up the phone. I would not recommend this Company doing Business with.    

Got a call from William Mott today about my product.  Just letting people know he is still at it.  Did not investigate further or return his call.

Please note that if your product is selected, we will purchase an initial amount of product for immediate internet sales.  This amount can be used to partially offset a portion of the $14,700.00 Vendor Fee.

OMG, I just got the exact same "Vendor Contract".  Thank you for posting this information about them because I have to say it looked legitimate.  They've changed the name, it's not William Mott, now they're using Robert Miller, and the phone has changed to 561-995-5342 but it's the same people, same name and same address in Boca Raton.

Hi.  My brother and I have a new product on the market and this place contacted us about doing a commercial.  Today we got the "Vendor Contract" and it calls for us to pay $14,700.00 too.  They use the same name, As Seen on TV, and have the same address in Boca Raton but the guy who called us used the name Robert Miller and we have three different phone numbers: 561-995-5342, 561-613-6010 and 561-982-7804.  Has a class action suit been filed yet?

Hi.  My brother and I have a new product that just hit the market and 2 weeks ago we got a call from As Seen On TV Productions in Boca Raton and today we received  "Vendor Agreement" identical to those referenced here. It calls for a $14,700 fee for 150 commercials on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox, etc. This time, however, they used a different phone number: 561-613-6010 and our contact's name is Robert Miller but it's the same group!  Thank you so much for posting this info!!  

As Seen On TV Productions - This company calls from different phone numbers including 561-241-4949 and 561-206-6659.  This company produces worthless overpriced videos with the [***] promise that they are going to sell your product on TV.  Their website at www.asseenontvproductions.com shows a few videos that they may or may not have produced, demonstrating an "implied relationship" with high quality companies.  Your product will likely never be purchased by them, and likely not ever be purchased by any of their "customers" either.  If there is ANY company that has had any positive results with this company, somebody would have defended this company on this post by now.  Make no mistake, they are selling you a video production service - THAT IS ALL!  You could get the same quality video anywhere for $1000 which you can post yourself on Youtube and get the same results.  Their packages of $14,000 or whatever are 90% profit for them.  They are not in the TV response business, they are in the video production business.  They say that their deal includes "air time" but the truth is that they are pretty much selling you just AIR.  As Seen On TV Productions preys on your hope to make money in the mysterious world of TV direct response, and takes advantage of your lack of understanding.  False promises, overpriced services, completely worthless.  Do not do business with this company, they have no integrity.
If any company has had positive results, I challenge you to post your real company name with a link to the video that they produced for you, and give us a way to verify that you are not just this scammer company posting a fake positive review.

Received the exact same call and sales pitch from Kenny Kleid at 561-206-6672.  The $14,700 "vendor fee" seemed excessive, and after reading these posts my suspicions were confirmed and I have decided against it!  Very disappointing, but happy to avoid what could have been a disaster later on.  Thanks for the info folks, power to the people!

Just got off the phone with Mr. Bill Mott; he hung up on me!  Kept pressing for pricing and info on my products to determine whether or not they would be interested in purchasing them for resale.  I asked him to email me information about his company, to which he replied that he could direct me to his website.  I then told him that he was welcome to view my website for pricing; he insisted he needed wholesale pricing.  Back and forth, back and forth (with me all the while knowing I would not be doing business with him since this was the second person from this company to try and convince me to do business with them), he finally said there were other companies that sold my product and that he would "move on to the next".  Click.  Good luck to the next; hopefully they will see this string of emails!  His number, by the way, was 561-206-6667.
