561-434-8400 call and hang up.  Who's # is this?

It is the Palm Beach County School District.  I believe it's one of the schools in Greenacres.  They just hung up on me, too.  But because the schools have it set so when someone calls you, that number comes up, no matter which line in the school calls you.  It can't be traced to an extension.

This number has been calling me and my hubby's phone every 5pm since the last 3 days. nobody seems to be on the other end when i pick it up, and when i try to call back the number, the line is busy...

this is a call from the palm beach county schools automated message system informing parents of any kind of information about school activity that you may need to know. it is not spam.

I received 56 missed calls from this number today, starting at 6:22am. The caller ID is School District of PA.  No message left and when I dial the number it is busy.

Why would you call that number back?  Anyone that would call 56 times and not leave a message would be suspect in my book.  In addition, why would a school district in Pennsylvania have a Florida number.  And why would they have School District as their caller ID?  Shouldn't it be the name of the actual district?

I agree this must be spoofed into their cell phone, so it appears that it is coming from palm Beach County public schools.  This was sent to my cell phone at aboutv530PM.  I do not answer any number that I am not familiar with.  Prior to this one someone spoofed in the Boca Raton Police & Fire  non emergency number.  I did not pick up, but called them right back.  No one from the Boca Raton police force had called me....
Just kids playing pranks, I think.

I get legitimate calls from the school district all the time BUT this is not them because they ALWAYS leave an automated message.  It's never a person so when I received this call, I refused to answer and sure enough, no automated message.  PLUS, that is not the school districts real number....
