Woman asked to speak with whoever handles outside conference arrangements, possibly Marketing.  Told her calls cannot be transferred without a specific contact and that corporate directories are by last name only, not department.  Then she admitted to introducing her company, but when I started reciting the instructions, she said: "That's all right, I'll try back later," and hung up.  "SDR" appeared on Caller ID.  Have received similar calls from other numbers.

This number has called our office twice. Once on Friday 3/6/24, and once again today, 3/11/24. On Friday, she was asking about who does our company event coordination and stuff-- and I responded that I believe it was all in house, as we're a live event production company and the production managers coordinate those events.

And she was like, well, I have this contact written down "___", would he be the person to speak with? And I said, well, he's the owner, so I he wouldn't do the coordination personally, but one of our production managers would.

And then she paused and was like, "well, what kind of company is this-- what does the company do?" And I was like, "it's a live event production company-- so they coordinate the lighting, sound, and production of live events."

And she was like, "Okay, so when you're out on live events, do you as an employee ever go and get together in a place as a team?" and after a little more responding, she finally asked if we had a marketing department she could speak with, so I sent her to our marketing head. It was odd though.

Today, she called and asked to speak with the marketing department, and so I said, "Sure, she's on vacation, but you can leave a voicemail." And then she asked me what was her name, so she could address her properly, and I gave her the name. Then she started spelling it out, and asked me to confirm how that was spelled, and I confirmed the spelling. Then she asked me if she had a direct extension, which I gave her. But it seemed weird that she was asking so many questions that she wanted me to say "yes" in response. It appears she left a voicemail for the marketing head, so I wonder if they'll call back again.

We are on the DoNotCall list, but it felt like cold calling from a marketing / coordination company.

Also received a call similar to call the complaints above. Showing SDR. She was very rude. Guided her to use the internet to find out what she wanted and the conversation ended there. Her voicemail has the name of Maria Peters which didn't match her voice or tone.
