800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal but as far as I know, Oregon is the only one that does not allow Charity calls.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Called asking for $40 or $25 donation for the firefighters of palm beach.

Received a call from 561-465-8218.  Caller id said '15614658218'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  They didn't leave a message.

Caller saying they were collecting donations for the Palm Beach County Fire Department. Stated the amounts that I could donate, instead of just asking for anything.

Received a call from 561-465-8218.  Caller id said 'Boca Raton FL'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  I also never give money to unsolicited charity calls so, based on the other comments above, it's just as well I didn't answer.

I didn't answer but it's one of many numbers that have called and left no messages. Every time I look them up, I find reports like these, claiming they're scammers. Block it.

This call is always calling me, I do not even pick up the phone anymore, the calls are so annoying!

Called at 12:23 pm today asking for a Ms. White. Let him know that he had a wrong number.
