We received a call from Dakota Marketing 561-494-2758 on 10/31/07 about consolidating my wife's student loans.  I told them we weren't interested, asked to be taken out of their caller database, and hung up. Seconds later, the same telemarketer called again. Each time I asked to speak with his supervisor, he asked to speak with my wife. When I asked for his business address, he began reading my home addresss to me.  Eventually I did speak with a supervisor who agreed to put me on their Do Not Call list, and reluctantly gave me their business address.

Twenty minutes later ... we received the call from "Cell Phone FL 727-686-5486" from a pleasant woman who asked for my wife (intentionally sounding like a friend). But it was another student loan consolidation call.  From a cell phone? What's the coincidence of that?! They were determined to ask my wife if she wanted to consolidate her student loans!

I called back the cell phone number twice to see if I could trick them into confirming that they were the same, but was given the message, "The subscriber you've dialed is not in service."

Out of service? Or for outgoing calls only?!
