This number called this evening, identified as Glenn Maxwell.  Out of curiosity, I called it back and voicemail answered, "Thanks for calling Windows Security Help Center. ... we detected suspicious activity going on with your computer," and so on and so forth.  Same old computer scam.  Now blocked..

Someone is trying to steal your information. All your data will be lost! Why the heck can't the police arrest these criminals put them into jail and throw the key in the ocean?

Caller ID "Glen Maxwell". Recording "Microsoft - someone is trying to hijack your computer and steal your personal information. Please wait while I connect you to a tech specialist". Never did get connected. Yes, someone is trying to hijack my computer and steel my info and it is you, you bunch of jacka**es!!! Same old BS just a different number!

Maybe in time. They did the Indian gang running the IRS scam.  There was a main network in Ahmedabad and like 28 sub networks throughout the US

Scammers at it again! I  getting these guys to yell, cuss, and tell me to STOP calling them-leave them alone and stop harassing them. I always ask them "what OS of Microsoft are you calling about?" I advise them I have several different computers using various versions " which one is contacting you, and what is it serial number since all of my computers are registered with Microsoft.' If you ARE Microsoft give me these 2 facts for verification anf then we can proceed. They ALWAYS hang up. Call back put the next minion through the same thing. Do it 4-5 times and they block your number?'

Got the same call. Total scam. If anyone who claims to be calling from Microsoft hang up. Microsoft Corp would NEVER cold call the owner of a device with ANY errors or "wiruses". What a joke.

Just called my cell phone did not answer left no message blocked number.  Love checking this out on here helps so much.

Said they were windows security.  Total scam.  Did not even speak good english and could not understand when you asked a question.

Got the same call. My call record shows 3 incoming calls on 3 separate days from these jokers.
When I first got the laptop, Microsoft Help Desk who I contacted were from India and spoke with an accent.
The current call is from Glen Maxwell's name. When I asked what the callback number was, they gave me my number. When I said I wanted their callback number, the tech person hung up on me. I agree this is a bogus call.
