I received a call from (561) 768-4051 this morning  at 9:35 a.m. the gentlemen was nice but insisted about getting my bank card information so that I could pay for access to information to receive my grant money for housing. I told him I don't give my banking information over the phone do you have a web sight. I then asked him what did you say the company name is, he said "Gov Grant Today" ma'am we are legitimate business if you what access you must pay $4.95 today and I will send you email confirmation of all the information you need. What is you website address? he says I think this is the email "support@reliablecustomersupport.com" and  the website is "www.grantfundingplace.com. Ma'am I have given you all the information you need you can even call us at customer service number (888) 316-9395. These people are really good scam artist so everyone please be careful.

i got this call during work, i answered it but i didnt say anything but they just hung up!!!!! it is annoying, i get sick of people calling me, i always have the feeling it someone that wants to find me and kill me, i always block the number but the people ALWAYS find a way to un-block my number!!!!

Received a phone call from this number today (20-JUL-2010) at 1:35PM.  I was extremely suspicious because I have my number posted on the Do Not Call List.  When I called this number back, the recording said that the number was either disconnected or no longer in use.  When I Googled the number. I found your web site.

Thanks for the 'heads up".  I will have gobs of fun next time they call!

Just got the call today, 7/20 @4:00pm.  No voicemail.

I got this call also, i was looking into assistance for single mothers and one of the sites singlemothers.org had information on financial assistance and grants.  I think that is who is calling.  i have not picked up the calls yet

NONE! They just call and don't unswer after I picked up the phone and answer.

This number keeps calling me and I just dont answer numbers that I dont know, specially numbers from other area codes outside of Phoenix, but it's good to know that its a scam...

if you call them back you can hit number 3 then 3 again and it removes you from there list

this phone number (561-768-4051) calls me at least 3 x a day and never leaves a message

i've gotten 5 phone calls from this phone number this month. i've never answered and they've never left a message. the calls range from 8 am to 7 pm. how can you report someone for excessive calling? to whom do you make such a report?

Same thing here, hangs up when I answer, and a call back prompts you for info.  I hate this tactic, should be illegal (probably is). Will try blocking, hope that doesn't cost ME extra money.

I receive numerous calls from this so-called company. I have never answered until tonight. They called me at 9:43 p.m. - Now, for those of you who do not know...no one is legally allowed to call you (business, telemarketer, or collector) after 9:00. I received this call at almost 10:00 pm CST. It states that the number is from Florida which would be almost 11:00 pm for them, unless the number is being rerouted. Now, lately I have taken over my daughter's whistle that she obtained in a package for her birthday. Now, when I don't recognize a number I will simply answer the phone and blow this whistle as loud as I can into it. May sound silly and simple, but I will tell you that I have had fewer calls using this method. I use to receive numerous calls daily from different 800 numbers and telemarketers. Now, using this whistle, they have not called back...
As far as them calling you and hanging up when you answer, it is normal. It is what is known as a "demon dialer". Which is when the computer dials numbers and when someone answers it will be transfered to the actual phone so they can speak to you. However, if the telemarketer or scammer is already on the other line, the computer will hang up the phone and dial again later.

Like many others, I never answer a call from an unknown number or a name I don't recognize.  I just let it ring until they disconnect.  (I do not use any answering machine anymore.)  Then I come to this website to see if others are having this problem.  Once I learn it is part of a scam operation, the next time I see the number, I press "talk" on the first ring, and then immediately press "off'", which gives the appearance of an uncompleted call.  After this happens perhaps once or twice more, the calls stop.  My opinion -- we've got to beat them at their own game.  :)

They call me 6-8 times per day.  The phone calls do not stop until 10 pm, one hour after they're legally allowed to call.  I have reported them to the AG and I recommend more people doing it as the more complaints filed, the more it's investigated.  Just google attorney general and your state name to get the link

I keep getting calls from this number and no one is on the other end. This happens at 2 to 3 times a day. I wish there is some way we can stop this!

I want these people to stop calling!
