Collection Agency looking for Collette.  (??)

This company keeps calling my cell phone number. Apparently, it's a collection agency but the name is unknown.

They keep calling my cell phone as well. They never leave a message or anything. They also have yet to send me any kind of letter by law as per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The number belongs to National Financial Systems.

they call me like everyday on my cell phone,one guy kept saying he just needs my layers name and phone# cause chase bank was going to take me to court and garnish my wages for 300 dollars of over draft fees,so i had to educate him that i stay in texas what a loser he was trying so hard to scare me...it didnt work.But some lady called today and was very mean and screaming at me.

They called 4 times today.  If they are a collection agency then they have no reason to be calling me.  They always seem to ask for a different person everytime they call.  This is not the first time they have called.  They seem to call just about everyday and 3 or 4 times a day.  It's ridiculous.

They call us and lied said they found a check with our name on it, I Didn't fall for it...we now have our phone set up to foward to a disconnected number..(We just look at the caller ID to see if we need to answer) after 3 weeks of calls 4 times a day in just 4 days they quit caLLING...THIS WORKS GREAT FOR THE cell phone too!

They called and have a computer ask if this is my name press 1.  You hear piano music and wait.  Then it just disconnected by it's self.  Scary.  I've been scammed before.  We are a new nonprofit business and I guess setting ducks for Internet & phone scams stuff to happen.  We are just trying to do the right thing.  Weird world out there.  So I hope by pressing the "1" number on my phone didn't do anything.  It gets so you don't want to trust anyone and we are trying to help people.  It's always about the $$$$$!!

They called me said press 1 then the music started. I treated them just like I will do anyone. If you call to talk to me then talk, I do not have time to listen to your music or listen to you talk to someone else. It's my phone, I can hang up, if they do not like it do not call.

If this is a legit company, then the need to follow prodical. They must submit a letter first, for collections, before calling. They also need to stop calling people for other people's debts. Ask who thier lawyer is and address.Get a call back number other than the 800 number. Always ask for name and thier employee ID # record thier calls if you can. No one not even someone who owes a bill, and is late deserves to be treated other than in a buiness type maner. Repot repeated threats to your tell phone company.

lotsa calls from this. its an automated for National Financial Systems. The system also calls outbound from other numbers; if you use a cellphone, the caller id will usually show their number as "+1##########" always the +1 in front.

answering it gets you a pretty standard pre-recorded message, pressing the requested number puts you in a queue to wait around for a call.

if you get these calls, i suggest waiting around for the rep handling your debt (if its you) and asking them for their address and giving them a verbal warning to not call. then write them a letter confirming you do not want to be contacted by phone, only by mail. they have 30 days to stop calls from the day you tell them/mail them.

The people that are calling from this # is a collection company for Chase Bank.  The collect on outstanding bank balances.

They call every day asking for someone who had the number before me. Every day I tell them that person no longer has this number and I have no idea who that person is. And every day someone says they will remove my number. It has been 10 days now and still they call.

I'm getting calls early in the morning and late at night on my cell phone from this number and they never leave a message. The area code is the Chicago area.

They keep hounding me at least 10 times a day looking for "Erica".  I have had my number for 2 years and know no one by this name.  They leave an absurd recoredd message that "if you are not Erica, don't listen to the message."  But they don't tell you how to stop them.  I tried wasting a long-distance call back to the number listed .  Someone answered and when I started to complain, they turned on blasting music and then disconnected.  This is not a legitimate way to do business.  DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO STOP THIS HARASSMENT??

This agency calls my house repeatedly looking for someone who doesn't exist, never has lived here, doesn't live here.  They refuse to provide their name or way to contact them to send them an affidavit of Fraud, but they also refuse to quit calling me. They know the person doesn't live here and insist on continuing to harass me.  I want to be able to file a complaint with the atty gen'l against them.
