Have recieved 9 calls in the last 50 minutes.
Have asked for them to quit calling/ i hang up and am immedietly called back.

This number calls my phone all day and night. No one is ever there. I tried calling back and it will not even go through

Well researched answer Tamianth! Thanks for the info!! However, this is not a creditor/collection call. I had the opportunity to speak with the "glorious" caller just now. I am a nurse case manager & this is the deal: OK, let's call it what it really is: A SCAM!!. They call to tell you that it "appears that you recently filed" for some form of government assistance (Social Security Disability Insurance, regular Social Security benes, food stamps, WIC, etc.) & that you have been "awarded a $14K grant" (maybe IT said $15K, I couldn't understand through the thick accent). I tried to explained that the number the jerks are calling happens to be the home of a gentleman in the last weeks of his life who cannot answer the phone. (his family called SS to discuss his medical condition). JERK/IT said all it needs to send my patient his "award" is either his social security number or bank account/routing number. I asked IT to not call back (at the request of the family), but IT said  it will continue to call until IT talks with the person himself. They have been calling once a day for the past two weeks, but just since 1008 this morning through 1142, they have called 5 times. I spoke with them on the 1142 call hoping I could talk them out of bothering these poor people, but I'm betting the volume of calls is about to increase. I'm not sure how they got this man's name since they called the federal government, but if someone is selling that info, I sure would like that person's name. I will eventually strongly encourage the family to seek any & all legal remedies, both criminal as well as civil. In fact I'm trying to get them to call the Fort Bend DA's office, but they are feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. Again thanks for the consumer info! To anyone receiving a call from this number: don't answer the call, but if you do, please do not give them any of the personal/financial info they request. It is not a legitimate operation and the US government will not ever inform you of a determination over the phone and certainly will not ask for you SSN or banking info over the phone. They will confirm info you have previously provided in specific government forms (SC-SSA-16, etc.), but they will never seek that info directly from you over the phone. Just for general info, when filing for social security the average time between your filing and your determination is about 3-4 months and the SS Admin will not call to notify you of the final determination. That will come via mail.  TXRN

I don't want to be bothered

This is just one more scammer work. The DC's drop and change numbers as a number gets burned for what it is. Then along comes another scammer with a different MO to get peoples information or scam them out of money.  Its not unknown or unheard of for a number to go through several different scam's.

Numerous calls all day starting at 7am.  No one responds and all I get is breathing.

30 calls in 45 mins. I finally decided to answer and got hung up on twice. .. its getting very frustrating

They have called me over and over again....5 and 6 times daily. ....PLEASSSSSSSSE STOP CALLING ME

Several harassing calls from this number

11/22/2014 5:19pm we received our 6th call from 561-952-2080 - the first 5 times we just held the phone to our TV's music channel until they hung up.  The 6th time - being frustrated we answered. (Indian speaking person asks)  Is Sean there?  My husband says there's no one here by that name, has never been any one here by that name, and to stop calling us, he says DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?    They hung up on my husband.  My husband is the push over - go ahead call again - I dare you!

I do not know who are these people, when I answer, no one speaks, then they hang up.

Calling my phone constantly I even block the number and it still came threw it is very annoying talking as if I won money etc said I will report the number still does not faze them

Received three calls in one hour. One nobody, next asked for some else hung up same thing third time.

I have received 2 recent calls from this number, when I pick up the phone I hear ringing as though I am the one making the call, and I just hang up.  

These guys have been calling non-stop for the past two days. He just told me to "[***] off". I submitted a report on donotcalllist.gov. Someone needs to stop them from harassing us! So annoyed.

today is Thanksgiving!  I received about 6 calls from this number.  I didn't answer any of them. interestingly enough I just got a new phone system at home and I added this caller to my blocked list.  What I found out is the caller called again and it rang once but then it must of gotten the message that the number is blocked will see if it works.

6 calls on Thanksgiving Day. Absolutely Ridiculous!

I have received as many as 30 calls in one hour on numerous days.  I never answer.  Love the calls in the wee hours of the morning...not.

Yesterday, I got calls from this number in 15 minute intervals. IAt first, I picked up but there was no one at the other end. I finally ended up by turning off my phone and answering machine. So I called the number but got a busy signal. My internet provider can do nothing for me. Since there seems to be no resolution, I guess I'll just have to wait this one out.

Calls daily multiple times to our business phone.... so annoying!!!
