Called asking for my husband. The person calling did not identify themself by name. When they learned my husband was not available they hung up.

A man called asking for "Charlie" ( the CEO goes by Charles) I said he was not in and asked if I could take a message,he then hung up.

A man said "Is Bill in?" sounded like he's a personal friend of "Bill".  I said "Bill who?" because we have two Bill's.  He gave me the former CEO's last name, who left the company two years ago.  Ding Dong! "I" hung up.

Our company has received in-numerable calls for the CEO of the company and when asked for a message, the caller just hangs up.

Just had a "JEFF" call me asking for the "Frank" who hasn't worked here in over a year. I asked "Jeff" to put me on the Do not call list at which time said it was going to cost me and how much would I pay him to put my company on the do not call list!
Don't know what kind of a business you run but you need to be reported!!

I had a similar experience.  When I told the person calling me that the person he was calling for was not available, he hung up.  Very rude.

I have had the same situation where someone has called numerous times asking for the former CEO.  Now I just put them on hold and leave it there, one day they'll get the picture.

Received a call from Justin at this number. Gave company name as GAF. Would not tell me what this was about but wanted to talk to the president of the company (asking for him by his first name) 'Justin' said he was following up on a call (which was a lie- I checked with the Co. President). We also have received calls from John Savona? From GAF as well. Same attitude and same message. This number comes out of FL (Boca Raton?)

Same thing happens with me. They call so frequently that I just ignor it. But, it's very annoying.

caller  will call all times of the  day& weekends. When asked what they want its none of your bussiness. I will only talk to him. When asked what kind of message is there. Very rude & hangs up but calls again. Asked for a daytime phone#. Told not to call back. I think I will but a block on this #

Caller's name was Allen. Wanted me to give him the owners cell phone number. I told him that I would not give it out and please give me his number and I would have the owner call him back. He said it was a personal business relationship and he needed the cell number for his own records. I refused to give it to him and he said, "So that is how your gonna be..." and hung up.

Asks for the owner of the company by first name. He is rarely here. Caller will not leave a msg.
Google search says it it GunnAllen Financial (hence GAF).
Put'em on hold forever so they can call fewer people!

The caller asked for me by name. Said I sounded like a man and promptly hung the phone up- almost slammed it.

This person keeps calling for our owner and everytime he hangs up when I say he is not here. Calls allllllllll the time

I called this number back 561-989-9809. A lady answered the phone GunAllen. I told her that someone keeps calling all day. To please remove our phone number. She said she would and it will take up to 48 hours to get to all the lines in the office. We will see if this works.

I did the same thing and was told the same thing.  We've been on a do not call list for over a year, and I threatened reporting them.

number called me 8 months ago in the middle of a meeting. Greg Melendez from GAF. At first he seemed a bit rude as all of you described. But he's one he'll of a broker. Happy to say that Greg Melendez and Brian Lombardi have both worked their butts off for me, and have made me very promising returns in this day where the market is garbage

people when these guys call you, relax, let them speak to the CEO and if the guy is interested he will speak to them, if not let him tell them. These guys are actually calling your boss to make them money, not to take money away from them. I agree they have to be nicer, but understand they have a job to do. Lets all work together.

Called, claimed he was 'Peter Allen' calling "from GA about a possible business venture" - doubtful, since everything else he said was a lie. Kept pestering me to talk to someone who only keeps a phone in this office to make outgoing calls when he's here consulting. I repeatedly asked what 'GA' did and 'Peter' would only say that "Ga is my company" repeatedly when I asked him direct questions about what GA is and does. No one LEGIT is ashamed of their company name and company product/service. 'Peter' finally gave up - he needs to make a quota of viable calls and can't waste time dodging a screener.

Ever see the movie 'Boiler Room' with Giovanni Ribisi and Vin Diesel? That's what 'Peter Allen' does for a living.

Loser.
