I keep getting calls from 562-289-8179 Automated message says clear all debt press 1 or press 2 to be removed from call list. I've done that th4 4th time in the last weel. They still call. I pressed 1 a couple of times, the live person just hangs up when I say they are not supposed to call me anymore.

I keep getting calls too. I'm going to report them to the BBB. I've asked literally like 10 times for them to stop calling me.

I keep getting the same call, I press one to be removed, but theys still keep calling back.  I am not sure what to do.

These guys are elaborate scammers. They are the same people who call with the automated message "Hi this is Scott". Its the same guy! They actually call from about 15 different phone numbers. The best information I have on them at this time and what to do about them is this:

The phone numbers are possibly being purchased and/or routed through a company called Digitcom located in San Diego, CA. The address may be 2251 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110. The San Diego police substation that has jurisdiction over that address is the Western Division 619-692-4800 hours M-F 8:30-4:30 western time. In order for their local police to pursue harassment charges against them, you must first file charges in your municipality (where the crime occurred). Ask your local police to teletype the complaint to the Western Division in San Diego so they can pursue the investigation from there.

Digitcom appears to be a company that provides telephone service to other companies. One of their clients that has been linked to these scam phone calls (and other scams as well) is Telephone Management Corporation located in Portland, Oregon. Their address may be 2331 SW 5th Ave, Portland, OR 97201. "David" is the person in charge of all things Digitcom at this company. The Oregon State Attorney General is very interested in investigating them, in addition to all of the above complaints regarding these harassing phone calls, so please call them or file a complaint online.

Also, please file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission as these people are violating several federal laws. You can file online at: www.donotcall.gov
You do not have to be listed with the do not call registry to file a complaint.

The state's attorneys and the FTC have the power and authority to investigate and prosecute these criminals. The BBB does not. Do not waste your time with the BBB. That is a voluntary program. Criminals care nothing about the BBB. They care about making money and not going to jail. Let's hit them where it actually hurts.

WE HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THESE SCAMMERS FOR MONTHS.  THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE A CREDIT CARD DEBT CONSOLIDATION CO.  THEY CHANGE NUMBERS EVERY DAY OR SO.  ALSO THE CALLER ID COMES UP WITH DIFFERENT NAMES ALSO.  THE ID FOR THE ONE TODAY WAS TV PLUS WITH THE #562-289-8179.  THIS COMPANY IS IN MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. YESTERDAY THE CALL WAS FROM RATEME.COM WITH THE #909-691-9119.  BEFORE THAT IT WAS WINNERS4U WITH THE #978-570-2368.  WE ARE ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST BUT THAT DOESN'T HELP. I THINK THEY ATTACHING NUMBERS TO OTHER BUSINESSES SO THEY CANNOT BE TRACED.  IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO STOP THIS E-MAIL ME AT slimpix@stny.rr.com.  HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.  NORM

This is getting very, very old...how can we stop these folks???

I received this call twice in one day on my office phone. They claim to be a "public service announcement."

I've been called by them three times today.  Called back once and jumped through the remove hoop.  They say allow 72 hours.

The third time they called, I was ready to play along, the live dude asked me if I was interested in blah blah blah as before, this time I said, "I might be"  he hung up anyhow.

I honestly believe that these people are an organization created specifically to harass people on behalf of collection organizations once people have exercised their legal right to insist that the collections organizations stop contacting them.

However gorilla revenge that may seem to those poor injured collection companies, it mindlessly assails those of us who unknowingly get a new phone number that was previously owned by someone who had the misfortune of invoking their vengeance ploy.

Yeah, I know many will think I sound like some sort of paranoid deadbeat, but I am neither of the above--I simply see no better explanation for why they would waste the time calling and then refuse to talk to me about whatever it is they purport to sell.

I've been getting called by these jokers too.  I called my atty general's office and have a report in but the best part was when I called the FTC.  They're in the process of pursuing action against the bigger "robo callers" (I think that's what these guys are considered) and want folks to call in to their 800 line and make complaints so they can track them down and stop this.  Call the FTC and report them, the more calls they get, the faster they move

I hate these people!  We get at least 3 calls a day from this number caller ID says TN Removal List.  What does that mean?!  ARRGH! It really angers me that they just hang up on you if you say you dont want any credit help.  I added my number to their remove list, we will see what happens.
