I just got a call from them and they said that they were calling from barrington services and that they call help me clear my debt and I hanged up on them.

I started getting the "Hi this is Scott" calls the first day or two I got my new number.  My phone is off half the time so I don't know how often they call anymore, always between 8 and 4 though, CST (woke me up once or twice).  *69'ed that once to (402)982-0584.

This call was a "public service announcement" for me.  I decided to talk to a live operator and ask her the name of the company (that's fair right?).  She said something like "Debt Relief" but she mumbled and when I asked her for clarification she hung up.

I have done nothing to provoke these people; I have no history of debt problems.

I get called from these people 562-289-8179 3-4 times a day, i even talked to a rep to try and see what it was about, they said i didn't qualify because i didn't have 3grand or more in dept.  But they keep calling.  I have done everything, including reporting it.

Call is SAME recording as Too Much Debt at phone number 626-207-9102.  I've reported this number as well and both are being supplied telephony services by:

TM Caller ID. They are scum of the earth. They are in clear violation of Federal laws and could be sent to prison or sued.  Their direct number is 503-226-4444.  Ask them to remove them from all their clients lists and report TN REMOVAL LISTS, TOO MUCH DEBT and TV Plus.   All are the same scumbags causing all the complaints on this site and at the complaint site for 626-207-9102 !

I have called this number back several times to TAKE ME OFF the list and they keep calling!  Thats 3 times today!  And when you do pick up and go through the procedures to tell them to remove you - they HANG UP ON YOU!!!!!!1

Apparently they are claiming to represent "Debt Relief Solutions" of New York, which may be this company: http://www.manta.com/coms2/dnbcompany_0rh4d8 which employs a whopping 2 staff.  I have no way of telling if this is the company itself, one of many fronts, or a bold-faced lie.

I receive about 5 phone calls a day.  I keep pressing one to say I don't want them and I keep getting them.  This is harassing.  I need them to stop.  I want to press charges.  What can I do?  I can't talk to the computer and I can't bypass the message, so they continue.  Isn't this against the law?

Thanks for this info.  I have received calls from both the numbers as well and I used the number you supplied to be removed.  Can we not report them to someone to have legal action brought against them?  I'd spend the money to make them suffer.  They've disrupted my life for more than 3 weeks and I'm tired of it, not to mention the lost money of tying up my phone.

They called yesterday and I waited to get someone on the phone.  When I told him we were a place of business and didn't want these calls they hung up on me.  Today they called again and I'm FRUSTRATED!!!!

Thanks for your info. i have been getting calls from the same numbers and it is so annoying and frustrating.  I called the direct line you provided and at least somebody there talked to me instead of just hanging up.

I have received about 6 calls from this number in the past two days. They always leave a message but I can't get them to stop calling.

I believe I have found out the company that owns this number - I just spoke with their attorney.  I would like to initiate a class action against this company as they have willfully violated the TCPA and National Do Not Call Registry.  Each violation of the TCPA is $500 – they have about 4 violations per occurance.

I am not an attorney but I have found one to file the suit on a class action behalf of all us.

If you are interested please e-mail me.  I am going to file suit regardless, but because they have hurt so many others I feel it may be in everyone’s best interest to join a class action law suit.

The caller at 562-289-8179 calls me 8 times a day and also call from a cell phone number 626-207-9102 its says on my caller id cell phone ca and the last two days now they call and hang up so i called the fcc and the attorney general office and made a complaint. the fcc told me if they keep calling you can collect money for pain and suffering so i made a complaint... when i asked to talk to the boss of the place they said hold on and hung up on me.... now they call and hang up on me... some of them are in new york and some in California..... that is about all i know about these people...

This number has called my cell 11 times this week, and 11 times I have put my self on their do not call list by calling the number back and pressing 1.  Today I pressed 1 to talk to the sales person and started to tell them that I had put my number on the do not call list and the guy hung up on me! Great what can you do to make them stop calling.

this is not a debt collection company, I have the feeling

they are running one of the old scams of soliciting certain

verbal responses from you, to record, and switch long

distance carriers on you, or a variation of it.

If you press 1, you get transfered to a person. Then they

ask if you "want info on debt relief" if you answer

anything other than yes, they hang up on you.

One time I said yes to see if they would connect me to the

company rep they were calling for, that way I could find

out the name of their calling service, as every time in the

past when I asked for who they are, they hung up on me.

Then they asked a series of other questions. And when it

came to the point they were supposed to get me to someone

to talk to, they hung up on me. I contacted my phone

company immediately, told them what happened, they noted it

on account and made sure no charges or changes would be

made to my account.

So I have filled 2 reports so far about them with the FCC.

I have started recording phone calls from them, havent

received on recently. But I always inform them that I am

recording this phone call and that they have been requested

multiple times to stop calling me and that I have and will

continue to file complaints with the FCC.

Actually had one of their reps say

"Well, I want to give a shout out to my homies. And the FCC

has nothing to do with us, you need to know what your

talking about fool." as well as a couple of other things

that I am not going to post here, but then of course he

hung up.

Who knows if I can figure out what company is doing this,

and they are viable enough to sue, I will start a class

(update) I spoke with Fred and told him of the things that have been happening. He said he would get ahold of the company and tell them to stop calling us.

He said most likely this is a company from India etc.. and that the laws dont apply to them.

I also informed him that if this didnt stop I would be filling a class action law suit and naming him in that suit.

tmcallerid facilitates crime against the elderly and disabled.

People who post here are bothered by calls.  
People who do not post here fall for the deals and get ripped off by the criminal gangs that tm caller id and  brings into our homes.

"Debt relief" and "card services" calls are advance fee frauds.  You pay them for a service they say they will provide. They take your money and disappear. end of story.  Thanks fred.
