    Another so-called local contractor who will be in my 'neighborhood', and wants to provide an estimate for repairs or remodeling.  SCAM suspected and now BLOCKED.

    Some robocaller NEVER learn what a busy signal means.  I BLOCKED this number on October 10th, and they have called back weekly for FOUR weeks and received a BUSY signal.

    Give it some thought, if it was in fact a robocall, then it is an automated message programmed to play when you answer. Now an automated message would not know if a number has blocked them and blocking a number does not prevent them from calling, only prevents your phone from ringing.

    The person who pushes the button to start the auto dialer wouldn't know if any numbers have blocked them either, so the cycle continues until they change the numbers to be dialed.
