Oh heck no.  Verizon is giving the numbers out?  Texted one of my cells about a payday loan.  I am NOT happy.

Ugh!! Me too!! I have Verizon and i just got a txt!! I heard they were going to give numbers out and it makes me not happy at all!!!

Attention Payday Loan,  

I want to let you know that I do not do business with anyone that sends me a text. You should know that it really upsets people when they receive these type messages on their cell phones. This type of marketing is really negative.

Unsolicited text to my cell and I'm on the DO NOT CALL list -- what can I do?

I want to reply to get more info on how to report these guys, but then I know I've given them an active/valid phone number.

received text wanting to know if I needed a payday loan for up to $1000.00...why this is my cell phone.

I have Verizon i pay for 2 lines and last night 11/24/10 the night b4 Thanksgiving on my main line at 10:27 PM & 1:01AM 11/25/10 Thanksgiving morning on my secondary line i recieved this text:

I thought that it was illegal to contact anyone be it advertisements, debt collectors, political calls, surveys, event reminders, etc... after 9PM

really angry about this if anyone has any advice on what other steps i can take to report/stop this please send me an email at fredjsafe@yahoo.com

I also got an unwanted payday loan text from this company. You can go to Verizon Wireless's web page, and about halfway down under PLAN it gives you the option to block numbers. Put that number (562-513-8428) in and block your phone from receiving anything more from them. Not that we should even have to do this, but its a way to stop them from sending you anything else.

I also got a message from here with the same message, and i to have verizon. I think they really are giving out are numbers

Same scam about loans...but i have sprint so it isn't just verizon

I just received the same text message

I have T-mobile, received same message.

They text me from this number and I have to pay for the text message no way to stop it.

Got a text now 2 days in a row from this number. "do you need extra holiday cash. and blah blah blah. Anways I filed a complaint online with FCC - Federal Communications Commission. I recommend everyone else do the same. The more complaints sent to the FCC the more trouble this person will be in for sending spam text messages and may ever face a Federal Lawsuit.

I have gotten this a few times from 562-513-8428. Im with tmobile. I replied to the text "STOP" So well see what happens.
