I think they are spoofing this from the VA ... got a strange call allegedly from the VA they ask to speak to somebody which makes no sense because this is unlisted number and I've never heard of the person ... I hung up ... then today the spam calls have started - three in the last 2 hours ... moral of the story: never never never answer your cell phone unless you recognize the #

Long Beach VA called to  verify appt.

My dad called and some lady picked up the phone asking to give her 3.95 to send a 100 gift card and she didn't even mention her name or that she was from the va health system. He called back and she asked the same questions then my dad asked to connect him to dermatology dept then she gave him a wrong phone number. Be aware when you call this phone number also.

I received a phone call on my cellphone from 562-826-8000. I knew that the number was from the Long Beach area, but I wasn't expecting a call and I didn't recognize the phone number so I didn't pick up. No message was left, but then I received a phone call on my landline. This time I picked up, and it was a department that I had applied to for a position from the Veterans Affairs Long Beach California facility. The phone number is legit and more than likely shows up on all caller IDs no matter the extension that dials out.

I have no idea if someone is spoofing the number, but the call was legit in my case.

Missed call. I was hacked today

Not Spam.  Long Beach VA calling to schedule an appointment.  Left me a message, and I called them back.  Legit #.

got a text saying:
"Shipped: Your Costco package with $103 loyalty reward will be delivered Tues, June 23nd [my name] [sketchy link goes here]"
its the second one I've had in the past month or two.
