There was a John O'Brien (if that's his real name) calling me a work, saying I owe Cash Advance $300.00 and he was calling from a Law Firm.  He said if I gave him 300.00 the matter would be resolved.  I never borrowed any money from a Cash Advance USA.  I told him that this was a scam. He became angry and said "If you think think this is a scam, then you will be in for the worst time of your life", and hung up.  I called the number back and a lady answered as if she was at home. I asked her what company is this, and she said "it's a law firm". It sounded as if she was in a call center or a warehouse.  Scam, be aware!!!!  Everyone that has called me from this number has had an foreign accent.  They have called me from a 202-239-1271 also, stating the same thing.

This is a "new" number with the same message that was being given from another number (but same thick Indian/Pakistani/something accent).  They have called my work number over and over making threats, demanded to speak to my boss.  Our deputy sheriff got on the line with one of them and told them they had better stop calling.  Same thing happened a month or so ago to one of my coworkers.  How do we stop these calls from a foreigner who is just routing numbers through a number here in the US?

Just got a call from this number, they left a voicemail claiming to be offical micheal durant and that they will continue to call or come to my home if i did not settle this legal matter. "he" also called my job and said the same thing. i told him i was going to call the police and hung up. this is crazy! its scary how they get your info!!

have they continued to call you?  I had the same thing happen to me for the past 2 days.  How did you get them to stop?  did you just stop answering the phone?  They have called my work and cell number.  Today they were yelling at me an demanding to talk to my boss.

keep getting calles from "David Scott" with a very thick accent..  that i am being sued for defrauding a company and that the police have been called and will soon arrest me .. he also repeated my SSN and Bank account number ... :( he also called my boss at work and cussed her out because she wouldnt give him my direct extesion

This is a fraudulent company. People in India are getting personal information about bills and selling them to scam people out of money. You need to deal directly with the company, if you even owe a bill. Not these people. Never give out your personal information. Their is a fair credit act and these people have no authority at all. Don't let them scare you.

This number has been calling my job stating they are Federal agents and that I am being sought after for using someone's name to get Cash Advances.  I am not sure who these people are and what they are referring to.  They are using foul language towards the front office staff.  This company has never contacted me personally.  I want these calls to stop, because I do not need to be harrassed at work for something I have no control over.

Last summer I kept receiving calls about an auto loan, and I have never ever even talked to anybody about a loan, NEVER!!!! So after so many times of trying to be polite and ask the person calling (who was never an American)  to put me on the DO NOT CALL LIST, I guess they just pushed me to my limit and finally I didn’t use my polite voice(for example ,“no thank you…  I’m not interested ) this time I use my I’m SERIOUS VOICE, and I told the man that was calling that I was very irritated and explained to him my experience and how I had told the others callers that I wasn’t interested and how I had asked to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST! So at this point I asked the man for his employee ID # that way, if I received another call on this matter i would be talking to somebody about harassment! After I said that, the phone call went from a business call to a very odd and unexpected call. This man was trying to challenge methen told me to [***], and that really caught me off guard, so I asked him what he said and he repeated it, and with an almost laughing, evil sounding voice  said something along the lines of this: “you think you can find out who I am Mr. Brandon?….. You think you can get me in trouble?  He called me names like a stupid American, and asked me if I really thought I was smarter then he, and challenged me to find him! And then I did fire back and attacked his background and ask him why he was on the phone with me, and not trying to blow up a plane or a car or something , I have changed my phone # and they somehow keep getting it.
i just turned my phone on for the first time in a couple
months, i had a few messages, the first being from a man that did not give me a company name, he just told me that i needed to call him or have my retained attorney call the second that i receive  the message, he left this #    760-269-4176 (may 16th) Then on May21st a man that sounded exactly the same called from    105-270-0040 claimed to be named Danny White with financial crime investigations, he stated that that they had received a legal complaint and then gave me the last  4 digits of my social security# then he continued and told me that if I did not return his phone call that he would have to contact my manager, and stated that my case file is at the court house, so I better call him back or ELSE… be ready to be arrested  and to spend the rest of my life behind bars and again told me to call back at this # 567-244-1997 I find this very odd, something doesn’t feel right here.  On may 31st  from   000-000-000 I received a voicemail  with a women saying “hello Brandon”…. And after that all I can hear is a lot of voices scrambled together…  I maybe just paranoid at this point but I think some of the voices and/or words sound familiar. Familiar like maybe clips of my voice or people that I know? If this is the case then somebody has defiantly hacked my system!!!

This person needs to be stopped immediately.  The website requires a little bit of information about the call, and some personal information, but the information is only to get in contact with you if they cannot find any information on the person.   But trust me, the FBI has quite a bit more resources to catch this person than you or I currently have. I would say report it to them, and let them do their job.

I got a msg from a david smith sayin the same thing that he needed to hear from me or myattorney and to not disreguard the call as it was time sensitive and that if he didn't hear from me the only thing he could do is wish me a good luck as the situation unfolds on me. So out of curiousity I decided to call the number he left on my answering machine back and the guy that answered told me tat there is some kind of law suit against me from 300$  that had been direct deposited into my bank account so I checked me account history and found no such deposit had ever been made to my account for any loan agency and not only that but the date he said it had been done was before I evenopened my bank account.  When I told him that he started to get angry he then read off my full name email address telephone number address social security number and bank account number and told me that I was a liar and I was in awe that he knew all that because I have NEVER received ANY KIND OF LOAN FROM ANY AGENCY. He kept telling me do not interupt me do you hear me so I said or what? What the f*$k are u gunna do if I don't then he called me a liar and I told him that there was no possible way that I could even begin to care less what he thought of me and that he could [***] and he asked me if I wanted him to hang up and I said look u [***] sucker if u are so big and bad and I'm in so much trouble that u think u can have me arrested then go ahead and bring it I f*$king dare u. Why don't u focus a lil of that useless energy on learning to correctly speak english before u try and talk any [***] to me I can barely even understand the nonsence that's flying outta yur mouth he then asked again if I wanted him to hang up so I told him listen chump ill do u a favor and do it for you cuz that's about the only thing u or whatev scam payday loan agency says I owe them u can tell them to either send.me .some documentation oor they can kisss my broke ass or better yet tell them to do both and I hung up. That guy really pissed me off he called me from phone number 5672484113 and when I googled the number I found this site and many others with a bunch of people that have gotten the same call only the douce bag changes his name come on now that thick [***] accent and his name is david smith?! Stranger things have happened but I find that highly unlikely that name isn't ssomething he just made up dudes an idiot
