Just got a call from officer Albert Johnson, he said he was with legal federal crime div. for fraud from the Federal Goverment, caller ID showed Unknown caller, he gave me a number call back 567-244-1998. Is this a scam?

They called and ask for a manager, And told him if the employee in the subject doesnt call them right back they will send the police to arrest the manager & the employee...lol
P.S he also used foul language

i got a call with the id reading 52700040 and the guy yelling me in the voice saying the same as above that he was from the legal department for the same mentioned above and threatened me in the message then he called again 2 days later with the exact same message . is this a scam?

I have been getting tese calls non stop for the past 2 yrs, I have their saying memorized it's always the same thing snaying I have committed a crime and they will arrest me at work or at home. One time they called asking for me 43 times while I was working. They gotta be stopped but how? They are always Indian speaking people very rude, and use american names. officer so and so, next time ask for their badge number and you know it's a scam when they say they have your'e ssn, saying there coming to arrest you. Also they sure as hell wouldn't give in fo to another person who answers the phone asking what they are calling about, right there I new that was bs, don't believe anything they say, they gotta stop taking peoples hard earned money away.

I got a call from number 52700040 just today it was an india speaking man yelling about money and asking me if i was going to take care of the matter, he wouldnt talk to me sensable just kept yelling saying there was awarrant for my arrest and i was going to get fired and picked up by the police today, well there was no warrant and the police department i went to told me it was a scam, not to tell them nothing.

Just got a call for a Derrick Thomas and left me all his info, and although I believe people should pay  debts, people calling from India saying what they're saying is completely illegal! I work in an attorneys office and what they're saying is well beyond what an attorney or paralegal is allowed to say! According to the FDCPA they are not allowed to threaten with police!! Or leave so much info on voicemail especially since in my case they had the wrong #!

now i get a voicemail frrom this number 3233319189 and the guys name is danny morgan this time leaving this call back number and saying close to the same thing. now my cell phone is not under my name how is it that these people know to call me .and is there anything we can do to stop them? this goes to lol cause u said u work in an attorneys office. please tell me something. this is the third call of this nature in under a week .. do they really think because its a different number your going to pick up

VERY VULGAR Indian man  repeatedly called my work phone and spoke very inappropriately.  When asked if he wanted our atty # he kept up, then said he would come and arrest me.  As soon as we would hang up, he would call back.  He has used 2 different names-Jerry and David.

theres got to be something that can be done about these people i looked up the numbers on reverse phone lookup sites and it says the number comes from ohio one in toledo . frankly i dont like being threatened by people whom i dont know who they are . or at all for that matter

Indicated that I owe them money from a pay day type loan. I have never had one of those types of loans. Very vulgar with language. Called workplace 70 to 80 times in about a 2 hr time frame. Message said to call 567-244-1998 but caller id says 052700040. Claimed his name was Officer Jerry Cross with an Indian accent.

Got the same call, about the 3rd one in A year, was already having a [***] day, so needless to say it got heated. I told them where to come pick me up at and we would solve the problem. I am debt free so I knew it was a scam, but apparently threatening them with their life does the trick, haven't called back. These people are the scum of the earth, i wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

these people are relentless. im surprised i didnt get any calls this week, but we'll c. i have all the messages they leave me saved ,

OMG.....for the last month i have gotten these same men calling me!Always an Indian or HIndi.Today he literally screamed at me and said,"If you dont settle this now while i gove you the chance,someone will come to your home or work.They will drag you into the street.Make you bleed and destroy you.Take away your life and your children and everything you care for!!!!" I told him not to yell at me.And that i knew this was a fraud.He knew alllll of my personal info!I hung up on him.He called back and left a 7 minute message(that i still have).Ultimately i picked up at the 7 minute mark.And he berated me again!This time calling me,"A useless idiot",and "Disgusting Pig".Then i laughed and told him,"oh i loveee verbal abuse".I asked his name one more time and he said again,"My name is ANTHONY BOURDAIN".Thru the conversation he must've said he supposed name 5 times.And it was my daughter who clicked n said,"omg,thats the guys name on the cooking show!!"lol   i feel totally violated by this series of phone calls.Telling me that i have done something wrong legally.Ultimately scaring my babies by hearing this man yell on my answering machine.I WANT JUSTICE!!!!! i am saving all info,numbers,names,and vm.PLZZZZ ANYONE HELP ME ON THIS MATTER!(To Lisa,the lady im replying this message to,and other ppl bothered by these 'phone terrorists'...I will not stop until justice is served on this matter!!

I have filled a police report for this matter. My manager that he has been calling was getting frustrated and coming to me about the situation. Don't give him ANY information!!!!! I live in High Point, NC There is a report filled. Go to your local department and have this stopped!!!!

This is a fake overseas payday loan collection scam.The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has an on going case against this company (see www.ftc.gov). If you get harrassed from these people they say to record everything and keep records of every call. Report it to the FTC, State Attorney General Office, & Better Buisness Bureau (bbb.org).
