Let no message

Called and did not leave a message.  Also got a call from 567-244-9444 2 days ago with no message.

Called back and got "This is Vistor from payday loans"

Keep getting call-hangups or left no Msg calls so called the number back to get a strongly non-American accent telling me about payday loans and gave me another number to call, 855-524-7386 for cashloans.net. Couldn't get to a person nor an answering machine. I'm going to report it to the BBB and every legitimate place of government I can find that investigate and convict phone and buisness and Internet scammers in the country. So sick of late night calls from nobody I could kill somebody! Just nodding about that last part but I'm so pissed off.

We also received such a call.

seeking customers for payday loans, the most predatory
type of loans around.  Such loans have been outlawed
in some states.  Usually their victims are people
who have somebody in need of medical care, funeral,
and similar emergencies. These vultures play a recording
indicating to call 855-524-7386 whenever one is in
an emergency requiring funds.

Called 3 times in last 2 days sounds like a wasted effort in my book if u dont know the number dont answer so i know i wasted their time lol

Got a missed call and a 4 minute long voicemail of classical piano music, no person.

Rang once and hung up. 567-244-9666 did the same thing four days earlier. I don't call them back if that's what they want.

They are getting through my call rejection list somehow.  Called with one ring and hung up.  Our FCC is just worthless.  Probably paid off also.

Got a fraudulent probably illegal call from this number.

 Today I received a call from a person named Mark Peterson.  He stated that I won 2,5 million dollars and UPS would deliver the money to door after I send them through Western Union receipt for 1400 dollars.  He also said that he represents Gold Rush International Co.   Another number popped up to my cell phone was from Jamaica -(876)839-5221. After checking on -line I figured out that it is a scam and a lot of people got ripped off.

Rang twice - no message left

Got called from number 567 244-9777.  Rang one time only, left no message.  Attempted to call number back, but call would not go through.

I received a call this morning. Sunday of all days. They left no message. I blocked their phone number I put them on my reject list.

They called just before 10:00 on Sunday morning.  No message.  We've now blocked this number.  

Call every day. Dont leave message. Ive asked them to take me off their list, im not interested. They keep calling!!

Just got a call from 567-244-9777.  It rang only one time and hung up.  I guess they don't believe in the National Do Not Call List.

Computer talking about "Low/Bad credit auto loans"

I received the same number. It is a scam big time. I reported it the state police and they forwarded it somewhere else. Did they ask for a pay card , if so they did the same thing.

Dear Fellow Posters:
     WHY, Why, Why do you folks bother to answer a number that you don't know?  Why, when you do answer, get mad because it is a scam call?  Why do you call back?  You get pissed off at receiving these calls, but, you answer or call back to give them a clue that you do have a working number that they can have fun spoofing with you!
    Then you get mad at the FCC, the DNC, the phone companies, the government and President Obama for these calls and accuse them of being 'ineffective' or 'a joke' for not doing anything about them.  
    Understand that the DNC is working or you would be getting calls from any and every LEGITIMATE bank, credit card, charity, medical, loan, department store, and fundraiser you could think of--but, you don't because they are following the guidelines of the DNC.  
    Just imagine, if most of the spam/unknown calls we all receive would be ignored (resisting the temptation to answer to 'get revenge', so to speak)--it could work wonders, don't you think?  Of course, that means that sites like this wouldn't be needed.  
    Is that such a bad thing?
    So, come on, folks!  Stop answering unfamiliar numbers, don't call back (it's usually a waste of time, most of the time, is it not?), and get on with the parts of your life that you can do do something with.
    Don't allow spam/crank calls/and the like steal precious time from you--otherwise you are giving them permission to do so.
    DO. NOT. ANSWER.

P.S. I know that this will be ignored by most because there will be more posts (this was #14) complaining about these calls.
     (Sigh)  I tried. :-/
