LOL...ralph i did the same thing, i called him back and told him to fk off and i called the police and irs on him and hes in big trouble and he hung up on me and then i called 5xs and he kept hanging up on me til he finally answered and he told me to get a lawer and call the white house and ask for obama, very heavy aribic accent..

I recieved a call from the same number as all of you as well, it freaked me out at first and i thought to myself that i dont have any issues with the IRS so i called the IRS and told them what happened and they told me to go online to www.TIGTA.gov and to make and report it and she said the IRS would never call and they would only send out a letter and im not the only one who has said that and a week before i was called by an unknown number telling me my visa card was locked and that i had to enter my card number and pin number to unlock it, so i hung up and called my bank and apperantly this has been going on for a yr and the bank said they would never do that and not without an unknown number....so i wonder if this is the same people doing it?? So the messages that was left on my phone was that the IRS has a law suit against me and that i need a lawer and at the end they said GOOD LUCK? WTF? I called them back and told him i called the irs and hes a fkn liar and he hung up on me and he kept hanging up so i played his game by calling til he answered and then he finally answered and i told him his a fkn fake and hes in trouble with the law and they are coming after him and he told me to call the white house and talk to obama lol...wtf? i said ok and hell come after his [***] and he told me to get a lawer n i said fk off n hung up on his stupid ass. I put this on my fb n this happened to a few of my friends and family memebers too....

Said he was the IRS.  Reporting to me that I needed to call the number back about my claim against me with the IRS.

They called me saying they were from the IRS. AND I AM BEING SUED

says the IRS wants to sues you. He goes by Iris

I got exactly the same call and when I called back the guy got all aggressive with me. Call was december 12th, 2014

IRS does not file lawsuits.  Tax disputes are civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes.   If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and all contacts are initiated by US mail.

This guy calling from this 567-253-0143 has called my phone 12X in the past 3 days!!! How do I get this to stop? Very annoyed at this point!!

I get this number calling about 5 times a day.  Sometimes I get a recording telling me to call ASAP. Other times I get the nasty, rude man saying I am being sued by the IRS.  I have no debt. I cant be getting sued and he hangs up when I start asking questions.

Call blocker is your best bet.  Also do not pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

DO NOT RETURN THEIR CALLS.   Male Indian and Pakistani callers become very sexually aggressive when they find out their scams are  not working.   They tend to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and mmbers of the immigrant community.  They are looking for vulnerable people, If you call back they may sense some vulnerability and hammer you with even more calls.  Block their calls!

The caller with a heavy accent claimed I had a 1900.00 tax debt from 2008-2012 and that I needed to call my lawyer and have him callback immediately as I was due in court tomorrow. I laughed and said really I work for the IRS in collections and I have access to my account anytime and he became very defensive. He hung up on me and I googled the number and found these additional complaints. People please make a complaint with the IRS/TIGTA. These people need to be stopped.

Some dumb--- by the name of bin jones left a message that I'm being sued by the irs- talk about inappropriate language used supposedly by an irs employee.  It's a scam!!!!
