received a call stating they were from geisinger.

Got calls from this number two days in a row.  First day, 7:30 AM, picked up and nobody there.  Very annoying.  Second day, 8:22 AM, I talk to a human and it's Geisinger.  They called the wrong number.  How annoying.  I don't even go there anyway.

I don't know who this is.  I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognize to avoid scams.  I tried to call the number back and it just rang and rang.  I don't have any appointments with Geisinger and haven't since I changed doctors a few years ago.  Very unsure of this call.

It is Geisinger calling to schedule an appointment. It is safe to answer.

Same. Hung up when they wouldn't answer questions and only said they needed my sons date of birth in order to proceed.

Medical spam. I am nowhere near PA. They were phishing for personal information.

Got a call on my cell saying it's Geisinger and my doctor ordered a test and they need to verify my name and date of birth. I said I know nothing about this and asked what kind of test. She wanted me to verify name and DOB before telling me. Uh, no!!! I hung up.
