- Caller: client retentio
- cateHow do you know who it is? They called here about 1/2 hour ago, and left no message. Calling from Scranton area. The caller ID said "CLIENT RETENTIO(N)" -- since I am not the "client" of anybody in Scranton, what is this supposed to mean? We have found other pest calls on our voice mail log, from the Scranton area. We think most of them are hooked into the "electric choice" (legal) scam.
- Caller: "CLIENT RETENTIO(N)
- Call type: Prank
- GernThis is a scam artist. Trying to slam by getting account info. If you press them for their company info, they will become obnoxious and hang up.
- cloverLooks like another A Hole added to my collection. Ring, ring, ring, in go the ear plugs.
- Caller: Client Retention
- KMSPWWhen I tried to call back this number, it wouldn`t go through, obviously a scammer. I am on the do-not-call list. How do these people get away with this? Is there someone that I could contact to block this number?
- abarn| 1 replyThey keep calling here 2 -4 times a week. Who are these guys. they do not leave a message. . I am on the do not call list 4 times now.???
- FK| 1 replyThey keep on calling and I do not pick up or i hang up. Is there a way to block callers on cell or is the only thing we can do is report them here?
- rjm1965 replies to FKyou can do like i did and get yourself a pro call blocker device, won't work on a cell phone though, signing up to the do not call list just gives everyone your number to call you since i got a new phone number i get zero calls from scammers i have my new number thru google voice and they have a huge spam number list they block from ever getting to you in the first place, this would also work on a cell if you change your number on the cell and then forward your google voice number to the new cell number and hand out your google voice number to everyone instead of your new cell number....
- Deutch replies to abarnThe do not call list does nothing. It essentially does not exist.
- Ed S| 1 replyClient Retention is probably the name of the company. You were most likely never a customer or client. I believe they may be trying to switch your electric power service from PPL to some other or possible switch you over to natural gas, but not sure.
I found that you can't call them, but they can call you. - Mark W04-26-13 at 14:56 Nobody on phone when I picked up. I remember seeing this caller id before. When I called number back, nothing happened for about 40 seconds, then all of a sudden a recording came on and said my number would be placed on the do not call list. Problem is, I called from my magic jack number, so I don't think it will help.
- Caller: Client Retention
- PattySame as the caller before me No one on the line
- ChardWow, they just called me. If they are about electric choice they are wasting their time with me. My electric service is submetered and I pay my bill to the apartment complex with my rent. Maybe if they call again I will humor them. Keep them on the phone awhile before telling them I can't buy their service.
- RichYou can call the number back and you will get an automated prompt to be deleted from their calling list. This is an FCC requirement. If you get another call after 72 hours have passed, report the number to both the FTC and FCC, particularly if you are on the National Do Not Call Registry. It's a shame that people resort to such devious practices, thinking it will help their business.
- Caller: CLIENT RETENTION
- Call type: Telemarketer
- GMOPROFILE COMPLAINT WITH FTC:
http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm
This will take you to the Do not call registry where you can file a complaint on it.
Let's take them out.- Caller: Client Retention
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Hector replies to Ed SBingo! I google Client Retention and found this: http://clientretentioninc.com/
I'd be very careful not to click anything on that website.
Thanks!
