Received two calls from this number asking for my wife by name.  The first time I asked who it was and they refused to tell me and hung up - the second time they just hung up without saying anything else.  very weird and slightly unsettling.

Male caller asked for me by name and when I replied that it was me speaking; he hung up.  They have called several times, this is the first time I picked up.

just got a missed call in california... this is all happening around sept. 25th? so it should end soon? i didnt call back.. good think i looked online first!

Received a call from a male caller at this number asking for a household member by name.  I asked who was calling and they hung up without saying anything else.

Just received a call from this number. The message on the answering machine sounded like a dog snarling and growling just as another person posted. That was very strange. My daughter and I were standing there listening to it trying to figure out what in the world it was supposed to be.

Just received a call from this number and it sounded just like "me again" a og snarling or growling. It sounded kind of muffled, like it was someone holding a tape into the phone. The caller ID was HSBC Customer Service. I have received three calls from HSBC all with different numbers in the last couple days. Very odd.

I just receieved a call from this number, and I tried to call it back, and it said that the number was being worked on, but when I answered, just like mentioned above it was a dog snarling, or growling, it was really freaky, and when I tried to call my husband at work, it send me to a different number. Also on the Called ID it appeared as HSBC Customer Service. I answered because I thought it was someone from a company that was suppose to call me back. 571-283-6424, 240-389-6635 and 616-597-4101 all called today.  All from HSBC Orchard Bank.  I know its not collections.  I answered one call which was to sell credit card insurance.  I live in the south.  Do not know why all these numbers are calling.  This has started around the beginning of Oct

We regularly get all of the different numbers...616-597-4101; 240-389-6635; 866-841-7507; 571-283-6424; 201-373-8349 with names like Minex, HSBC, ICG for HBSC or TN removal line in different combinations (i.e. one day the # 866-841-7507 will appear as Minex, then another day come thru as HSBC).  At least I know they are all basically the same company.  So far I have not tried to call back any of them because I assumed they were all telemarketers.

Like others I have been getting numerous calls from HSBC from about 6 different phone numbers, this is just one of them.  They never leave any messages.  When you try to call these numbers back there is no answer.  I tried to use the Call Block feature on my phone and NONE of the six numbers can be entered for some reason!  I get at least 4 calls a day they are SO ANNOYING.

Noticed number on caller ID when I got home; no message.  My guess is, they're trying to sell credit card insurance.  They handle Orchard Bank credit cards, and maybe others too.

Received strange call from HSBC Customer Service. Left one minute message of large cat snarling. Very creepy...
