Received a call from this number today (9/6/16), "claiming" to be from the IRS-- yeah, right!!!!!  Supposedly there are "4 Federal charges" against us, and we were instructed to return the call-- again, yeah right!!!!!  At the end of the message, the automated voice instructed us NOT to ignore the call, and then wished us "good luck".  Are you kidding me?????  We're supposed to believe that the IRS would wish us "good luck"?????  Not even close to being professional!  How do these SCAMMERS get away with calls like this?????  PLEASE, DON'T FALL FOR THIS!  If anyone has any legitimate issues with the IRS, they would most likely be contacted via Certified Mail, and lawyers would be involved!  Shame on theses SCAMMERS!!!

I got the exact same call. As if  there were really r federal charges against me,  I would really get a "warning". Not falling for it. I always look up strange numbers leaving me strange messages. I hate those people. Glad u posted tho.

I just received the identical call and message. Realized right away it was a scam,especially since I answered it and a was a voice message. Is there a way to stop these calls.

Left me the same message so I called back the guy got an attitude after 25 min on the phone ( lol I was bored) told me good luck and the police was coming to get me in an hour... 5 hours later nothing has happened told him to kiss my [***] and have a great day

Gosh these scammers are busy!  I got a call just now, didn't answer, but no message.  I feel left out!  :(

Same exact message!  This has GOT to be ILLEGAL. Why isn't anything being done about it???

Got the same recorded message - "This is the IRS," "You have four federal charges against you," "Don't ignore this matter," "Call us back at this number," "Good luck" (the "good luck" part was the craziest). Why doesn't this website allow you to choose "scammer" from the options? At this point it's going to be a number of calls. "Prank call" makes it seem harmless, but lots of people have been *plenty* harmed by these people.

I got the very exact call. From Arlington Va. I fell the first time a few years ago. Scared the day lights out of me. Thank god for this backwards phone book.

Why do I keep getting these calls when I signed up on the do not call registry???

Fact: The Do Not Call list is NOT a call blocker!
The DNC list is a LIST, subscribed to / purchased by legitimate telemarketers, so they know who not to call

Fact: Scammers and spammers ignore the DNC list.
Many use "war dialers" to quickly dial phone numbers.  After all, phone numbers are just numbers, and are no secret!

Fact: The DNC list does not apply to NON-sales calls, such as political calls, charities, surveys, debt collectors and businesses with which you have done business with during the previous 18 months.

Fact:  Spam callers can be blocked by getting a real call blocker.
 Google is your friend.
