Called about Google AdWord account.  Not from Google, going to optimize our account though.  Thanks, but no thanks, bye.

Just like DDR below, called about Google AdWord account, wouldn't say where they're from, stuttering over their words, wanted all your info but wouldn't give any of themselves, real sketchy people.

Same as the other two.  Calling about Google Adwords from "Sterling VA" but wouldn't say who they really were.

Called 3 times this morning in 5 minutes. FInally answered and they said they are doing a yearly evaluation of our google adwords business account. I asked if they are Google and they said "NO" so I hung up. Added them to our blocked caller list :)

Talked really fast. Said calling about Google Ad Words. Wouldn't say company name just that they are certified by Google. When I told him I wasn't interested and hung up, they called back twice immediately. Added them to blocked caller list.

Shawn called me asked for the person responsible for the payperclick acct.  I asked for more details, and he just repeated himself. I explained i need to know specifics before transferring call and he said rudely, I just need to talk to the person that handles that.  Are you that person?

He was very rude and called me uncooperative.  Don't bother wasting your time.  Just work directly with Google.  They are fabulous and are great with customer service and training.

Hard sell --- right -- wanted all my information. Could hear dozens of other people in background -- reminded me of scene from the Wolf of Wall Street.  Said I was getting hits from Afghanistan but swore he didn't have access to my account -- so how would he know I had hits from Afghanistan?  He didn't --it was a scare tactic.  I got stung by Datasphere -- not this time.

Just got a call (Can't remember what company he said but followed it by "with your Google Adwords team")and I told them they are not from Google and I was not interested. The sales person kept telling me it was no a sales call even though I knew what they were doing. I said goodbye and hung up. He called me back and said that Google does not handle their adwords customers any more and farm out to them. He also told me why would I want to make googe richer I am just throwing away money. Asked if I even knew what my quality score was? What an A$$. After he kept arguing with me I finally told him not to call back. This company is a total scam beware.

Same stuff everyone else on here got, however he did say the company was Top Floor Marketing. Gonna tell him to buzz off now that I've seen what's really up.

These calls have been coming  ever since I started ads with yp ,yelp &  Google about 3 months  .As a matter of a fact I dropped yp because they lied to get my business and their marketing reports for my ad with yp is lame and I was very disappointed yp is not anything more but a big scam too . But the calls from these others start out wanting to bad mouth Google ads .I have more calls for my business with Google ads than I have ever had .Yp I was lucky to one call a week after about a month it died down to 0 and the marketing person would never return my calls.But back to the calls from 571-349-0002 and others similar numbers ,listening to the person calling do they all not sound like computer generated voices? My advice is Hang up fast and do not talk to something weird sounding .Scares me !!

Do not take these calls - you tell them to remove you from their list and they pester and pester and pester and pester and pester you

He asked to talk to the manager in charge of the Google Adwords.
Told him, we did not had one.
So, we wanted me so sit in front of computer and spend 30 mnts.
I said no, and he sarcastically said that I was doing a "great" job!!
Hung up!!!

When I answered I immediately heard VERY loud call center noises, then a man with a very thick accent asked to speak to the person who handles our Google AdWords account. I asked where he was calling from and he said Alexandria, Virginia. I said no, what company? He said Top Floor Marketing (I had to make him repeat it several times before I understood due to his accent - he said you know, like the top of a building?). I said don't call again, hung up and blocked.

don't be fooled by these scammers - they're just trying to phish for your personal information to steal your identity and raid your finances. (303) 963-7958 was the first number they called from, before they called from 571-349-0002 - they're probably both spoofed numbers, but I'll block 'em anyway

They said they were with Toffler(sp?) Marketing, would not leave a message. Waste of time.

I have their actual number (571-349-0002) blocked, but this time the number didn't show up like it should. It showed 05713490002. They called us 12/15/16, at that time the Caller ID said Sterling Va, - today it just said "Not Available". They weren't stopped today because the number was different (0 in front), but they're blocked under both numbers now.

Received call today 3-23-17, unrecognized, unanswered.

Same as all the other posters.  Scam call from someone pretending to be with Google Adwords.

Called from Sterling, VA and said he was our google acct manager. We did have an account manager when we set up the adwords account and this guy was not her. He was rude and pushy and when I gave him some NY attitude right back he hung up. Block it.

"Daniel" called wanting to speak to "the person in charge of our Google accounts". When I asked what organization he was from he put me on hold so I looked up this number and found out it's a scammer.
