Left no message on voicemail.

RW [***] calling from another extension.  Zapped by NMRB.

Repeated calls from the Virginia area. This one has called several times but has not left a message.

Claimed to be calling for political fundraiser, but caller ID said AHS.

This caller always calls with 2 calls:
First call displays NAT REP CON which I have blocked.
IMMEDIATELY after that call is blocked, a second call is made to my phone with caller ID: PRIVATE and the phone number is UNAVAILABLE.  This also gets blocked, but I can see it in the logs.
This is repeated a couple times a day for days and days.
If you call the number back, you get a recorded voice stating "You've reached the customer service line for the NATIONAL REPUBLIC CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE."

Frequently calls late at night. Very rude for people that get up early.

This time I picked up - a live male voice said "hello"?
I said "Go the F away you GD scammer" and "scammer" over and over and over until he finally hung up. Be interesting to see if he has the guts to call back - he will get a word for word repeat every time he does! I am SOOOO sick of these A-Hs. They're getting exactly what they deserve! Please, people - DO NOT accept what they're trying to pull.

Asked for my wife by name. Apparently calling from voter registration lists. (I told her to quit putting her phone number on any registrations!)

They usually show up as "AHS" on caller ID.  I called the number back and they claim to be the "National Republic Congressional Committee".  The 2nd word of the real organization is republicAN (with an AN at the end).  This is similar to the faux calls I get from the "Internal Revenue ServiceS" (note the incorrect plural).  I can't believe an organization would get its own name wrong.  In addition, in the past this number has been spoofed by other scammers, so I am convinced it is a scam.

Receiving multiple calls from this number but never leave a message. Caller ID says AHS.

Repeated calls from same or related close numbers , phone ID says AHS . One ring and no message , etc .

If it continues .... blocking it/them .

Getting calls from this number with nothing in the caller ID except the number.  I'm blocking them with my 250 number phone blocker.

After 5 months, they're back.

Caller ID says "NAT REP CON".  They leave no message.

I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number).  I hear the following, "hi, you've reached the customer service line for the National Republic Congressional Committee.  If you would like your number placed on our do-not-call list, please, press 1.  Thanks and have a wonderful day."

Once again, it is the N RepublicAN C C not the N Republic C C.  I can't believe that the real NRCC would get its name wrong.  I suspect this is a SCAM.

I actually hit 1.  I hear the following, "this number will be removed from our calling list.  Please, allow 30 days for this to update in our system.  If you're calling from a different number than the one we contacted you on, please, hang up and call us back from that telephone number.  If you're calling from a restricted or blocked number, please, call our customer service line between the hours of 9:30 and 6 o'clock mountain standard time, and one of our customer service representatives will be more than happy to remove it for you."

Political - blocked them; they'll just use a different number to call again.....

I in NO WAY represent the app company, but I use an app called PrivacyStar (paid versions, but free is pretty good, too) on my cell phone, which serves as my primary phone nowadays. I can manually block as many numbers as I want (no known limit to how many there can be). I also have it set to automatically block calls from "known scam" numbers and to send all detected robo-calls to VM. It has greatly reduced the junk calls I have to deal with. All of these features can be turned off and on if you don't wish to use them. Go check out this app.

While the phone was ringing from Nat Rep Con (emphasis on "con"), I looked up this number to read the above comments. I didn't pick up, and the caller did not leave a message.

All iPhones have the capability to block any  number desired... No app required....
