A man who identified him as Marty Jones left a message today. He with Indian accent claimed to call from IRS to threaten a legal action against me due to a tax issue. I called back with his number 585-283-7013. No one was available but a voice mail saying the extension 3029 was on the phone and asking me to leave a message. Be careful ... it seems a scam.

I have received a similar message on my answering machine last night.  When my husband called back this morning on this number 585 283 7013, a man with an Indian accent answered as IRS.  As soon as my husband said "you have left a message on our answering machine" he hung up the phone immediately.  Several minutes late he called again and I picked up the phone, the same person ask my name.  When I interrogated who was he, he hung up the phone immediately again. It seems a scam but he is a real person.

I received a message from a foreign guy by the name of Alex martin claiming there was a descriptese with my taxes I got hostile with him he threatened legal action called local police they say sounds like a scam phone number 585-283-7013

He finally picked up his phone.  I confronted that he is not from IRS.  He admitted he is not from IRS and said what am I going to do about it. Mother F....

Had a message left on my phone yesterday from this number asking me to call as there is a problem with my taxes. Try to call back from my work phone it goes strait to voice mail every time.

Received the similar call, three time this afternoon, ignored the message. Agreed with comments above.  IRS would not do this.  It's an scam not even worth the time to pay attention to.  Just hope these guys get caught and locked up forever!

Yes, got a call from 585-283-7013 stating that this was from IRS. This guy left me a voice mail to return his call. The line had a lot of static, but sounds like a fake call.

Left a mostly-unintelligible message and said something that was probably about the IRS, although even that wasn't clear. If he wants his scam to work, he's going to have to speak English well enough for his marks to understand what he's asking them to do.

Indian accent speaking man called stating he was calling from IRS Department about back owed  taxes, threating to take my home & car also put hold on my back account and take drivers licensee away and threating me with jail time if I did not make some type of payment so that he could stop all these things from taking place. demanding a payment of some type and would set up payment plan. called IRS a they said that they do not work that way. if you get a call like this call the IRS and speak to someone and report it
