garbage call ，no answer

I received a call from 585-312-1396 this evening at 6:05 pm on my home landline. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message because I don't have Voice Mail. The Caller ID showed, "Elba New York." When I called the number back on cellphone a message came on with the remove telephone number option #9.

Ahhhh the student loan scammers strike again! Most of these people are just collecting perosnal and private information about you so they can sell your information to Identity thefts. Please do not provide them with any information. Hang up or just waste there time. but don't prove information. Especially using the word YES for any question. Always use, Uhuh or ok. never Use yes. If they have stolen CC information from you. Using you recorded voice saying Yes. Can authorize them to charge any amount on to your CC. Please never use YES on any phone conversation.

Student Loan scammers.  The big 3 have the power to stop this, I just don't know what it's going to take to make them use it.

Got two calls from this number and one from one differing by only the last digit. First was six days ago, then yesterday, then today. All three left 2 sec "empty" voicemail messages on my cell. (I am in Colorado, so this is not an instance of the calls coming from same area code and prefix as has been prevalent on both my cell and land lines in the last few months.) My feeling is, if they are legit, they'll leave a message. But at least two sites like this one seem to think they are student loan scammers. I never had one (and it would be 30 years ago), and my college-aged offspring does not either.

Caller ID identified it as a potential spam. It also identified it as a SL Loan Forgive. That's funny. I never went on to college & I am way too old to have a student loan even IF I had gone on. I hung up while it was ringing, then blocked it.

I received another phone call from 585-312-1396 today at 2:20 pm on my home landline. I received a previous call from this number on 12/15/17. I didn't answer phone on any of their calls. They didn't leave message because I don't have Voice Mail. Since these people don't have enough sense to stop calling I will block number today.

I've gotten several calls from them. I press the number to speak to one of their customer service reps and tear them a new one. Does it stop the scam calls? Nope. But I sure feel a lot better afterwards and I get few and fewer calls from them.

Called twice in 1day on landline.  No messages left.

They have called once or twice a day for 3 days now. They don't leave voice mail. They just call back. I've blocked them now. Caller ID says ELBA NY

Called at least 3 times a day for past few days.

Recieved three calls today and no message on the answeing machine. Not answeing numbers I do not know. They can call all days as far as I am concerned.

Keeps calling and does not answer or leave message.

Heard someone fall off chair, noisy back ground too, Man in desperate voice, "Hello Ms.Wilson, I said yes,
Glad I reached you, you owe almost 32,000 glad I could reach out to you and work with you to make this
loan go away" I said I am not interested, but He persisted warning me of jail, govt. coming to get me, pay now
thru him for a reduced rate OR ELSE! SEE ME IN JAIL WHEN I LEAST EXPECT IT. Having suffered trauma
in my past , I did not appreciate him threatening me so I hung up, I do not think this is FASA, so be careful

5 calls in a row from this number in 5 minutes...block this jerk weed!

I have been receiving these calls for awhile. It is all about extending my car's warranty.  When I called back, the message was: "Press 1 if you want to be taken off the do not call list."
