    Similar as others. Ed says Akron NY. I am not surprised it says it wants money for vets. I would give to known groups by snail mail and not over the phone, ever!

    Even by snail mail you need to research the particular charity to determine if their administrative and fundraising costs are low enough that the cause gets most of your donation.
