Who is david gray?? I call about get arrested for fraud...violations and ....

A recorded message is playing saying that there is information about a federal offense that I've ignored, and I need to appear before a federal judge.  It leaves a message and asks you to call back at 585-542-4256

I called back just to see what kind of scam it must be ( and I was careful not to give out any information at all).

He says his name is Frank Smith (with a heavy Indian accent).
- He says he's from the US Treasury department
- He says there is a warrant out for my arrest, that there was a big mistake on my federal income tax in 2012
- He says I owe $5,000+

We didn't get much further than that.  He was bothered to find out that he was on speaker and my wife was also listening in.  He said he would have to arrest both of us now, then hung up.

It seems almost certain to be a scam.

I get the call about once per day, sometimes more

The guy called this am, with heavy Indian accent, saying he is calling from the Internal Revenue Service. He didn't get far because I said he was full of B** S***. He hung up on me. I blocked the number, but  according to my caller ID, he has called back numerous times today.

6 calls in one afternoon!

Called my DNC home phone 3 times claiming, with an Indian accent (!), to be from the IRS. Blocked the number.
