Telephone call came in 7:53 a.m. from 585-542-4377

Just received a call from this number.  'Tony' left a message stating that he is contacting me regarding a complaint against name and social security number.  

He didn't actually give a name or number, just said 'name and social security number'.

If I don't call back today, there is nothing else they can do.

...don't think so.

I received the same call from a Tony Bello, what exactly did he say to you and did you get a summons from your county of residence?

he (Tony Bello) left me a msg stating that I was to be served by Tuesday/Wednesday after the Labor Day holiday we shall see.

The call I got came from a Mike Randall. I am supposed to be served Friday. Asking for money to keep me out of criminal court. Also gave a callback numer of 866
-976-9501 which isn't even valid.

Got a call from 585-542-4377 (NRG & Associates).  As I suspected, theyre just another 'run of the mill' collection agency. This was on an outstanding payday loan they said I owed, which I do not.

Companies like these use various tactics to scare you into paying up. They will threaten to have you served 'court documents' or they will try to sound legit by throwing around legal terminology. Sometimes they will call and pretend they are 'process servers' trying to get a 'court summons' out to you.

Gimme a break! Since when do process servers call you up ahead of time to warn you about being served?

Do not fall for their lies!  Get familiar with the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act). By federal law, they cannot threaten you in any way. A proven violation of FDCPA is $1000.00 per offense.

These idiots did not leave a message but their Caller ID comes up as "Turning Point".  Called around 7 a.m. in Arizona today.

Received a call from this number asking for someone that used my phone number as a contact for them, "Tony" asked me how to get ahold of this person, I stated that I have no idea and he said "That's a lie" and hung up on me. These people need to be charged with harrassment!
