Called and left no message

called my cellphone and is trying to say I owe them money for going to central Texas college which was covered by financial aid in the first place. They say they are part of a collections agency, conserve. We tried to get more information out of who they are and where they are located they would not give any information. In fact, they hung up on us twice. Finally getting through, the "manager" seemed to be getting really agitated and yelled at us on the phone.  I would not trust this company especially with the methods of bullying they use to try to get you to give them money you do not owe.

Received a call asking for spouse by first name only. Informed he was not available. Person did not want to leave a message but stated they would call back later.

called two days in a row asking for my husband. He has never been to or had online courses at any school in Texas. She will not talk to me says it a buisness prop. so I told her to lose the number and she tells me that she can't do that and that she will call back when he is home.

Send me an eVoice message, didn't do that, since it involves downloading stuff.

I am suing conserve for harassment.  i suggest you all do the same.  the more they get sued, the less time/resources they'll have to harass people.  plus they deserve it.  I'm suing with legal helpers, who you can reach at legalhelpers.com.  They charge nothing, can stop the harassment, and earn a settlement.  plus, they're super friendly and knowledgeable.  they'll first go over a list of things that are illegal practice, i was surprised at how many laws conserve had broken.  do you know they're not allowed to give a date the the debt is owed by?  that was the first thing they did!!  they said it was due in two weeks, and set a date.  [***]!  i'm going to really enjoy suing them just about as much as those sadistic [***] have enjoyed harassing me.

Conserve has been calling my cell and my parents house getting very rude with my parents. I spoke one time with a lady name Michelle who told me I would never get a house if I didn't pay the money to them. I told her I didn't owe the school she was saying I owed. I am gonna contact legalhelper that SUECONSERVE suggested. These folks are absolutely ridiculus.

My wife went ot nursing school way back in the mid 70s. She took out a student loan with then Western Thrift and Loan. We got married in 79 and I assumed the debt and we paid it off During the 1980s S & L crisis Western went belly up and somehow must have lost or tossed all the paperwork. We never received a payoff notice because of their bankruptcy. We kept out checks for a long time. Then some 15 YEARS! later we get notices saying we owed the entire amount. We figured because we had not heard fomr anyone in 15 years it was settled. My dufus congressman told us to just pay it. I told him we already did, he said nothing I can do for you. Can these people at legalhelpers help. What is the process and how much do they charge.

A person from this number called me and immediately asked me to give them my address, date of birth, and social security number.  I refused and asked who he was with. "Greg" (probably a pseudonym) stated he was calling with Conserve on behalf of Broward College. I am a student at Broward College, all my tuition and books are paid for by financial aid- a Pell Grant to be exact.  The school has no record of the debt, so I got my best friend for the last 17 years, who just so happens to be an Attorney to fax them a cease and desist letter.  When I did finally get the fax number to Conserve, the "Supervisor" named "John" said the calls would not stop even if I sent the Cease and Desist letter. We shall see, I will keep all posted, not everyone has an attorney as a best friend to do this work for free, so I upon completion of my doings with Conserve, I will write a full, lawyer inspired tutorial for anyone to use for free to beat these clowns at their game of bullying, using illegal tactics, their extreme rudeness, not to mention their false claim of me owing money.

These people are calling me on a credit card that I have. I am making payments...to the credit card company, themselves, and am confused as to how or why this collection agency is calling me! It makes NO sense! And they are soooo nasty, it is to the point where I will not answer the phone anymore when a number I don't recognize comes up.
They have even called my MIL, who lives across town! Repeatdly! It's unreal. And now they have somehow obtained my cell number and will call, hang-up, and call right back again. My cell is also my business line...and this is aggravating. What can I do?

BEWARE OF CONCOURSE COLLECTION AGENCY, 585-598-6192. This is by far one of least professional agencies I have ever heard of, to say the very least.If you google them there is page upon page of unpleasant responses from victims of this agency. They obvious hire ignorant and lower level human beings, who have indubitably a Napoleon syndrome. They have no moral guidelines or common courtesy when dealing with people. Albeit they are hired to collect a debt, however they treat individuals like horrendous creatures because of their inability to pay, or a misunderstanding about a bill. They have no tolerance nor try to understand the situation. Rude is an understatement, they have limited verbal abilities, no social skills, get angered and flustered all to easy, yell and hang up the phone. These are obviously little or non educated people who landed a job in a field where they cannot differentiate between assertiveness and extortionist, or simply enjoy the "control" they think they have, and the feeling of perverse power to speak to openly cruel to people.They lie and say they have attempted to contact you, and have not, now with the days of caller ID this easily found out. They treat people in a demeaning, assaulting, and slanderous way, they play personal attacks on the integrity of people by being able all to easy to effect their credit score, now try to get that off your trw, its not that easy, even for a incorrect billing error, but they do not care.  This company would be better suited to be henchmen for a mob loan shark. They should in no way be able to communicate and contact "regular Joe's" who are working hard if not struggling to make ends meet. I don't know how to stop them, but I will do all I can do. This is what America is coming to, be afraid, be very afraid, but don't give in to, we have to fight this for our next generation, we must give them a kinder world. God bless America, we need it more than ever now.

isn't the debt considered zombie debt anyway because it is over 7 years old/past due.

calls my cell phone almost every day, at least once.  i don't owe on student loans or credit cards.  how do i get it to stop?  very curious what can be done!
