They call and when I answer they hang-up.  I suspect they are calling to find out if my phone number is an active number...then they will very likely give my ph# to a telemarketing company...at least that has been my experience in the past with this kind of call.  I keep track of the area codes...when one that has given me problems in the past calls I tell them they have reached the sheriffs dept.  That usually stops calls from this group of scammers...it's a way to say..."Back in Your Face"!!!

This number calls...sometimes it shows up as a call from Michael Graham or a different name in the past but same people.
I answer and they hang up...but I continue to get these calls...no reason for these calls? I don't know how to stop them from using my number...any real concrete suggestions on how to prevent these calls???
