I received a call from this number but no one said anything, when i tried to call it back it said the number was not in service, i've also
been receiving a lot of blocked calls so I don't know what's going on or who these people are.

Received a call from this number.  Asked for me by name but connection was crappy and he said he would call back.  I never received the call back.  I tried to contact the number but it is not available.

This number has been calling me every 15 minutes for the past 3 days.  When I would answer there is nobody there.  The have even called at 11:30pm.

Some guy calls our company constantly - same guy all the time, but from different phone numbers (obviously spoofed numbers).  When this guy calls, he always speaks very fast.  For a long time as soon as I'd answer the phone he'd just say "Let me speak to John, thanks" (the guy was looking for the former owner).  When I'd advise that John had retired and started asking if there is someone else that I could get to assist him, he'd always just hang up.  
Now, this guy is calling and saying "Let me speak to Jeff, thanks" (new owner).  Very difficult to get any info out of him, but as I have to announce calls before I can transfer them through, the man finally told me that his name was "Chris Smith" and that Jeff was "expecting his call".  When I asked him for his company name, he quickly said: "Phillips & Williams".  When I found that the owner was on his cell phone and that the owner wanted this "Chris Smith" to go to his voice mail, "Chris Smith" kept insisting on holding for the owner saying that he couldn't go to voice mail and that he had to speak with the owner and he didn't mind holding for as long as it took.  (Of course, the caller hung up within less than 30 seconds after being placed on hold anyway)
When I called to find the number that this man had called in on, it came up with 585-775-0567 which (being from Rochester, NY) I can tell for sure that it is not a landline number and it is a different number than what this man had called in on in the past.  It is obvious that this is a spoofed ID and these people certainly seem to be running some sort of scam - I cannot find any listing of "Phillips & Williams" online that would make any sense, and judging by what other people are being told by callers from this number, it seems rather suspect to me

I received a missed call today while i was taking a nap from this 585-775-0567 number and i tried to call it back and it says "your call cannot be completed as dialed." I have received several phone calls from companies claiming that I inquired about health insurance online. I did however apply for Medicare. Does anyone know if they would have "shared" my information?

Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. They hung up on my answering machine. Must not have been important. From the posts about it appears they are scammers, using some sort of link to tap into this phone number to hide. The phone company should be able to check the box this line is connected to and cut their link.

Thanks everybody !!!!!!!!!!!     Now all we halve to do is just watch that caller ID................and just let it ring!!!!(best here to shut ringer off) AND 2 weeks later after no answer they will go away!!  I know beacuse I have done this before, rember NEVER answer and they go away quicker

Oh!!  This is a payday loan company,a bad one at that!!    Usually they get names from people who get loans on line SO stop and so will they UNLESS someone uses your phone number on there loan app.

PITA call only.  Saw the number on caller ID and checked online to verify it was a valid number.  When I saw it was scammers, I let it go into my fax.  Hope the fax squeal was at least half as annoying as the bogus phone call was to me...ughhh, losers!

some guy called our business today asking for someone by the name of our business name.  I kept telling him that he was calling a business and even though I kept correcting him how to say our company name correctly, he kept calling it by the wrong name...then said, I need to talk to the owner and I said he is not in, is there a message and the guys just hung up the phone on me - what a freaking jerk!!! I am so tired of these people who can not earn an honest living messing with the people that are trying to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

guy named "TIM" called from "TIM ENTERPRISES" asked for our owner.  When asked the nature of the call guy said he was told to call by 4 pm & he was running late....I told him it was 2:30 so he is early and I need to know why he was calling but he could not tell me so I proceeded to tell him to remove us from call list & of course, he hung up before I finished sentence.  unsure who they are or why they called us. i would sure hate to have a job like his!

I get these calls everyday. most just hang up when I answer with our standard company greeting. This person did have the name of someone that worked here, but that person left over 4 years ago. When I told her that fact, she hung up. This is just tiresome.

JERK LIST follows. They are numbers that call me repeatedly after I tell them I am not interested or that call repeatedly when I am out and hang up on my answering machine.  Incredibly stupid marketing.

This number showed up as Rochester N.Y. I have a friend there. It was a very aggressive woman named "Sheila Williams" of Williams company. Asked for my boss by name, and said when told her my boss was unavailable,  it was Shelia Williams calling she (my boss,) would be sure and take the call. RUDE.  Got my boss on the line, speaker phone, Sheila Williams was trying to sell collection agency services. My boss said we don't have troubles with collections, and didn't need that type of service. RUDE and agitated "Sheila" went into a tyrade about the use of private investigators who could get delinquent clients to come to our office in fivve days with payments. What a bunch of Horse- _ .

I'll report this number to Do not Call.

Very nasty man called from this number and mentioned my name and a debt collection agency, and even told me the "F" word. Do we need these calls? I am clear with debts. But the guy continued with bad words and demanding more information from me.  TELEPHONE COMPANIES MUST GO AFTER THE PERSON WHO OWNS THIS NUMBER.  If he has his rights, we must have our rights.

A man called and said he was a private investigator involved with collections and "he was coming to get his money and I'd better be ready."  He then laughed and said he was with a collection agency and could collect the money owed my firm.  I hung up.  He was almost threatening which is why I searched on this site.

This # just called me.  Left no message.
