They Said they were from the US Treasury Department and if I didn't listen to them and pay what I owe you they were going to send people to arrest me.When I said I would have people sent to their phone number she hung up.

Caller said they were with US treasury department if  I ignored this message could result in jail time message was automated. Wanted me to call back to 585-937-3306

Received a call from this number (585-937-3306) and they were speaking with a bad accent.  They somehow had some info but wanted more info. I told them that if they had the info that they did not need me to give them more info.
The lady said that her name was Janice Wilson and that her IRS ID number was 117386 and that there was a warrant out for my arrest.

Have some fun with these fake IRS idiots! Call them and say your with Windows tech support and you need to access their computer to fix errors.

This is a scam. The "Call Type" doesn't include Scam as a type. Caller ID had this number and the voice on the recorded message said he was Steve Martin and that I had to call back at this number or face arrest. The claim is that it is from the U.S. Treasury Department. They have repeatedly said that they do not make threatening calls like this.

Automated call, foreigner saying he was from dept. of Treasury. Yeah right !

Also got an automated call from 585-937-3306, a message from a man with a thick Latin accent threatening me with criminal prosecution and warning this was my last chance(?). Didn't catch much of the content of the threat, he woke me up. A recorded phone call doesn't carry much weight at the best of times, so I ignored it, then decided to do a web search for the number. Sure enough I find it was what I thought it was, a poorly executed scam.

Who are these people?

when is Senator Shumer going to go after these unwanted callers. It appears that the do not call list is a joke & a complete failure as is all that the government gets involved with!!

they also call saying they are from Canada Revenue Agency, and they want your credit card to pay your outstanding amount right now
