I just got a call from this number.  The message was in Spanish and the message said: "Because you are a valuable customer from T-mobile, we are going to give you a present.  Press 1 to accept it now" ... Sounds like scam.  I just hung up.

I didn't answer, but I've gotten calls like this before. I noticed someone mentioned they have T-mobile. Do most people receiving this phone number have T-mobile? And does this mean it's a possibility they're selling out numbers to telemarketers?

Just got the same call, figured it was a telemarketer so didn't pick up, no message left.

Received call from 586-992-8668. Static message in Spanish - Called my cell phone, which is registered with Do Not Call list.

Got the same call about 40 minutes ago. Didn't answer because I was busy with something else. I have Sprint not T-Mobile.

No! I got this sale telemarket call on my cell phone, but I've NEVER been on T-Mobile.

I just got a call from this number and I did not pick up.  There was no message left and I do have services with T-Mobile.   Hmmm, are they selling out because it's a brand that might dissapear in 2010?

It is the No.4 cellular company in an American market that only supports two really successful firms -- AT&T Wireless and Verizon Wireless. Even the third-largest company in the market -- Sprint-Nextel has 50 million customers. T-Mobile had 34 million customers at the end of last year. T-Mobile only had a profit of $306 million in 2009. That was down from $483 million in 2008. T-Mobile not only faces three larger competitors, it also has to begin to offer 4G service to compete with Sprint's new WiMax service and LTE-based products from AT&T and Verizon. T-Mobile may seek a partner to offer a 4G network, but there are no super-fast broadband networks likely to be finished before its three rivals offer the service. As it now stands, T-Mobile has no future in the U.S. A merger with Sprint-Nextel has been mentioned several times. The combined company would have a customer base about the same size as AT&T or Verizon. And the transaction would probably make Deutsche Telekom a large owner of the combined operation. Another alternative would be a merger with Virgin Mobile. Maybe Deutsche Telekom will just change the firm's name.

2nd time this company has called me. Same thing - woman speaking spanish the first time. When I let it go to voicemail the 2nd time it was just static.  ID says MI, USA.

I also recieved a call today at 10:46am and missed it from 586-992-8668. Called it back and it say's it's a number that is no longer in service. hhmmm SMH..this is stupid. And i just got a new number. I have sprint.

i received a call from this number, when i answered there was static and then a recording in spanish.

got a call on my cell an hour ago from this number - did not pick up

We have been getting this call for some time now; on all of our office lines.  Today alone we have gotten this call 15 times and counting.  It is not only annoying, it is disruptive to our workday, which is busy enough as it is!!!!!  We cannot not answer the phone - this is place of business and we have to answer all calls that come in.  

Anyone who has any idea on how to block this call on a landline phone please share!!

I missed the call. When I called the number back I received a standard recorded message that this number is not in service.

I got the same call. missed it though. it left a really short voice mail of a whole lot of nothing. I tried calling it back and I got the message that the phone number was out of service.

i had a missed call from this number. i tried to call it back and it said "out of order".  i have a 919 area code and my number is relatively new...hmm.

I received this call on my T-Mobile. Hate it!

Just got the call - as described by all others.  Never have received anything like it on my mobile before.  Intellius says it is a landline in Washington, Michigan.

I didn't answer either. No Voice Mail.   But I also have unlimited, so let them all call.

just received a call from 586-992-8668 on personal cell phone, didn't recognize the number so didn't pick up - they didn't leave a message.  I called right back, within 20 seconds, from a land line and when you dial that number the recording comes on stating "I'm sorry, but you have reach a number that has been disconnected and no longer in service, please check the number and dial again"

Don't bother answering the phone when this number comes up
