Some sort of phishing operation starting out asking me if I'm still farming.

I've never farmed in my life and these days I'm not playing games with phone scammers.

Saw it on my phone.  Didn't answer, but thanks Mark for posting that it was a phishing operation.

had this last year with this scam every week. Frustrating.

Got the call just now. The area code is Alberta but the accent was a  thick Jursy or New York. Probably using a forwarding number to make the call seem local.

He asked me the same question if I was still farming but the strange thing is that he called me by name..... Anyway it turned into a sales pitch for drill bits that didn't sound   right. Didn't find him overly rude but hey it might be just the start of the day.

Just received the call from a person named Lorne who asked for my husband by his first name then asked if he was still farming???? Not sure who this was but he then said he has my husband's work number and will call him there.  We don't know this person but have been getting a lot of telemarketing calls even though we are registered on the Government do not call list for sales calls.  :(

Don't talk to them or agree to anything. They will send you fictitious invoices and if they quote you a price, you will be charged a lot more even if you don't order from them . They continually ask for your credit card number during their sales spiel. Just as a down payment to hold your special price . Sleazeballs and con artists. Nothing but a phone scam. They go to great lengths to try and get your cell phone number and call  biweekly. To summarize them as a wasted piece of skin  would be too kind.

Just called, no one there so I quickly hung up...

Called again - Ace Farm Tools - Heavy American accent - Said he was calling from Burlington, Ontario although it was an Alberta Area Code.  Hung up, blocked number.

Had them call me and ask for my husband by name then asked if he was still farming. When I said no he has never farmed they hung up on me.

I answer and they seem to not talk or possible hang up just as I answer phone.

Just got a call from this number asking for my husband but by last name. Said he is not home then guy asked for his shop or cell number. I said no he does not have one. I even asked for a call back number and name  which he would not give to me. I believe they have been calling from another local 587 number. And they have called a few times before but no one would speak back when I'd say hello.

It's a company by the name of Ace Tools. They will lie and say they are from your province or they are attending a trade show in your area. They will try to gather as much information on you as they can including your name, cell number and address. They will proceed to try to get credit card info. If you check online,  they are based out of California. I don't think I have read one report good about them. They are liars and scammers. Avoid them at all costs!  They will phone several times during the week at various hours using a robot caller.  Recently it's a female voice. They won't remove your number from their call list when asked and become very belligerent. Don't give them any information and if you can, block all of their numbers.  They are scum of the earth.

They just called but don't answer quick enough for my liking so hung up and added their number to my blocked calls device.

Telemarketer, supposedly from some sort of Farm Supply.  I'm not even a farmer.

No ringing this time but Caller Display showed they called again. We blocked them months ago. Persistent little b*******s.
