- Pete| 1 replycalled me on May 23rd to tell me inspectors would be in my neighbourhood tomorrow to see if I qualify for the energy rebate. My street is a Crescent so the short form is cres and that is what she called my street, Maple Cres. No one says cres instead of crescent. I told her it was illegal to sell heating appliances door to door and don't bother ringing my doorbell. She hung up.

- AJFraud? Planned home invasion? Someone trying to sell heating services/warranties? I don't know but it is worrisome
Someone called and said they represented Canadian Energy Efficiencies. They knew our names, our address and of course our phone number. They said they had someone in our area doing energy efficiencies the next day. They asked how old our furnace and the hot water tank were. They then made an appointment to come this evening (the next day) to do an energy review. After the call, I went online and discovered all these comments. I tried to call them back about 25 times at various times to ask more questions. The call seemed to be answered but it was silent on the other side. After about a minute the call hung up. NO ONE SHOWED UP.
This makes me concerned about a possible home invasion being planned. What else could this be?- Caller: CEAS

- MattLOL. Calls are coming from overseas (I heard a chicken in the background). CEAS is a made up company name to sound official but they are not part of any official in regards to Canadian efficiency regulators. They simply want to sell you a new furnace and lock you in on a long contract. They try to portray themselves as some type of professional authority when the company registration/office is to some house in Leduc LOL.
- Caller: CEAS
- HH100% it is scam. They just pretend to sound like a government agency. Too bad that no one can stop these guys.
