They called my landline today but there was no one there. The display name came up as ATCO energy.

They claim to be a survey group conducting surveys on behalf of Atco energy.
I had told the lady that I’m busy but I’d like to reschedule the call for a later time.
She cut me off mid sentence and kept saying bye, have a nice day bye…
I just hung up can’t say if this company is legit but seemed really suspicious and unprofessional.

November 27, 2025 - call from a survey company calling on behalf of Atco.  I find the questions always a bit tiresome and never really getting to the point of what makes people made about the power bills they get. Distribution costs are the main problem for ATCO. Not matter how hard I try to keep my own bill DOWN, ATCO tacks on distribution costs. This is the biggest danger of large power providers getting a monopoly We used to have a coop for power and it was a lot cheaper to run a coop, but they gave up the coop and ATCO has never yet come down in price on anyting. It's a scam I agree when Atco runs a survey and does not get to the root of the issue which is their unreleanting and every increasing costs to deliver a bit of joy to our homes.
