    Said he was calling from Elemental Data on behalf of the Canadian Government and wanted to know if I was will to take part in a survey. I said no and he hung up.

    Couldn't tell where she said she was calling from, asked if I was free to take a survey. I said I could. Asked if I was in a place that's safe to talk I said, I am. Asked if live in a town, acreage or farm, I said farm and she said she doesn't need me to participate further since they're asking people who live in towns.

    OK, so how is that a scam or even a suspicion of a scam?

    Caller ID, "PRIVATE NAME", so of course we did not pick up !
    Nor did they lv a message.
    Called the number back , and was told it was long distance call . Called again and male robo' answered not identifying at first,  but inviting to go online and input "enc " .......
    Considering 'biga' posted it is  scam/spam/......

    Same thing happened to me on May 21/2025 same message same number, about a landline of just cell lines in the household

    Said they were Leger Surveys. I went through a survey on the phone with him. Seems legit, but they did ask for some personal information at the end such as my first and last name and email address which made me a bit suspicious that it might have been a scam.
