Recorded message claiming to have a truck in our area collecting clothes, etc and a 1-800 number to call. No idea if legitimate or not, but I'd rather donate to an organization I recognize like the Salvation Army or Scouts Canada, thank you very much.

Got call 10:40 and 12:48 answer with dead air. Why call if you are doing nothing. How can those calls to stop?????

I know for a fact that the phone # 587 - 880-2141 is that of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.....primarily
the Calgary division.  They  are collecting gently used clothes\shoes\boots etc. as well as any small household appliance and small furniture.

To the person who says that they are "slow to answer"....  please be patient as there are a great many people who are working with a disability (whether its physically; verbally; sight or hearing impaired) that
are employed with a great many of these services or charities.   Thank you.

Whenever I pick up the phone to answer the call from this number, they hang up.

Answered once and got dead air, so did the call blocking.  Have been calling numerous times, including 0700 as I was trying to leave for work.  I also would rather drop off my things to Salvation Army or Goodwill.  I din't know who was calling until I read this post.

Received a polite call from an easy to understand gentleman, saying that he was from the Kidney Foundation and that there would be a truck in the area collecting clothes, .....   Given how pleasant this voice sounded, I nicely replied that we had none (yes, I know, unusual for me!) and he thanked me for my time.  If only more callers were like this!

Took a moment (a second "Hello?") to connect. Kidney Clothes, live person, offering to pick up used clothing.

I don't mind these phone calls! For those who are bothered, I'm sure you can call them to have your number removed from their call list.

Typical daily dialer, never any messsages etc - what a waste of time, itchy fingers

Some [***] who just runs up a 2 min messsage saying nothing, just background noise of somebody jerking off in the distance
