587-943-0411 appeared on my Bell bill as a WiMac Tel - payphone call Calgary charge of $3.89.  Did not use this service /number.  This reads like a scam to me.  Called Bell and got a credit for the amount

This number(587-943-0411) appeared on my Bell Canada phone bill as Caller: WiMacTel
For $3.89. I called Bell and the Rep. told me that it was a collect call from Alberta Canada that I accepted on December 19/2021.
I told the Bell Rep. that I did not accepted any collect call from anyone, but he still insisted that I did. He said that he would reversed the charge this time, but if it happened again I have to pay it. I am upset because he accused me wrongfully. There are other people who have the same experience like I do. I think the police should do something about These Kind of Calls.

Telus m'a facturé 3.89$ pour un appelle de ce numéro  WiMacTel Inc. 587-943-0411. Ils disent qu'ils ne peuvent rien faire pour contrer ce genre de "robotcall", mais ils facturent leurs clients même s'ils savent que ce genres d'appelles sont effectués par un tier.

I too discovered a $3.89 + h.s.t. charge for a call to Calgary on my business land line, which I never made or received by collect call. I noticed on my bill, under description that it was "operator handled". So I call my provider ( Bell ) to complain. While I waited for them to reverse the charge I googled the number and found this very helpful website. Thank you to all that have taken the time to post here. A shame this scam continues many years later, even though Bell knows that it is a scam. 28 minutes of my life on the phone with Bell,.......that I will never get back !
