Calls from this number won't leave a message

This was a man pretending to be collecting money for the police dept. Wanted to come by my house and bring me a packet with info. I confronted him because I know the police here DO NOT DO THIS. He hung up on me. SCAM!!

601-429-1235 SCAM trying to collect money for the police. Actually wanted to come by my house. I confronted him about this scam n told him I'm calling the police, which is exactly what I did. The police made a report n said they never call for money. THIS IS A SCAM!!! ALL THESE NUMBERS ARE SCAMS!!

This man called was trying to get money for the police. I hung up knowing it was a scam .so please be aware if he call you.

I just got a call from him too. DO NOT ANSWER this call.

Called but left no message here.

This call was from back in February 18, 2020. Called cellphone but left no message. The number is supposedly from the Vicksburg, MS area. If this is a police donation scam like the others have said, definitely hang up. I have received many calls like this over the years but never gave. This is not how police departments and charities operate.
