robocaller, spam, calls cellphone everyday

They have been calling for years about a credit card debt a family member defaulted on over a decade ago and which the SOL has long since expired. We do not answer their calls because they are intent on getting you to agree on record to making a token payment so the debt can be reaged and placed back on your credit report.

As for all their phone numbers, they are leasing them, according to a family member who works in e-commerce. It does no good to block one number, for every number that is blocked they probably have 100 more.

I hesitantly answered, but no one seemed to be on the line.

I'm using this REPLY function to edit my post above. I just noticed that I've been getting calls from this same number about once a week since last December. I've always ignored it until today. I don't know who the caller is.
