They have started calling me, randomly.  Who and why?

Calling office clogging up to 3 of our lines at one time or in serial fashion upon hanging up on the first call.  Name sounds like Corrite Brown, looking to make me millions.  Yeah right.

this nuber has called me 50 times. it is a fax number.
i will fax them 50 times or as many times as they call me.

They call my cell every day and just called 2x, busy when I call back.  I speculate that it is fake of course, but also may be from a jail. Lots of jail spam going on cause they have nothing to do.

I am SO sick of these calls.  I, too, am registered with the DNC registry and it is up to date, so I am not sure why these poeple are calling.  I live in San Diego; interesting that the headquarters is close to my house.  Hmmmm...

Anyway, thanks for the info.  I filed a complaint thru both sites.

I live in San Diego also, not far from the address. I just recently started receiving phone calls non stop. I am also on the DNC list. I somehow always miss the call. Makes me curious...

Same here...been calling for like a week...I don't recognize the number so I never answer and they never leave a message.  They are calling my cell phone, which is on the do not call list--like everyone else here.  Annoying!

Just received a phone call on my cell phone. Didn't get to it on time. My voice mail picked up and recorded only a portion of the message. Something about a Democratic candidate for School Board.  I will be sure to call this candidate and complain about this phone canvassing. Not even sure its legal to cold call cell phones.

About a loan

This number calls every few days --noone says anything - and I report it to annoyance calls.  I will see about suing them as I have signed up to prevent telemarketing

Got my 2nd AUTOMATED CALL from "NICK GERBER"'s campaign (moraga,CA).  THe usual conservative speech & attacking some woman named Ellen.  after hte first one on 9/4/08, I tracked down his campaign website.  I emailed them to tell them I had no idea who he was, wasn't in his district (& of course would rather die than vote for a conservative.) Today 9/11/08 at about 5:10pm I got a 2nd message w/ some other conservative tripe.  I contacted the campaign to let them know that I was reporting them to DONOTCALL.gov (tho I think political campaigns might be exempt.) I researched at CA_DOJ/Attorney General's office, state voters office and the website stoppolicialcalls.org to find out if I could report him anywhere else.
I also tracked down his opponent and since I liked her stand on the issues, I donated $20 to her.  I let him know that every time he calls my cell phone I will donate another $20 to her.
