I answered the call from work phone, since called ID reads:  AZ ST GOVT.  This is a computer generated call with instructions to call back 602-542-8146.

The person answered and they could not identify the employee they were attempting to reach.  This is AZ Dept of Revenue attemting to collect past debt (Az State Taxes)

These are the telephone numbers of harassment callers from 3rd March to 4th April, 2012, made on my residence phone and cell phone.  All numbers were listed on 800notes.com by other people who had received harassment calls from these numbers.

All these numbers were of unknown persons or not recognized by me as companies I knew.  After the first two or three times I stopped answering them and simply rejected the calls unanswered or deleted unheard or unread any messages they left.

The one thing that seems to cause them to stop calling is to simply allow no contact with the harasser who is calling. It seems to me that the harassers purpose of making contact with the called individual is thwarted by simply rejecting him and declining to pay any attention to him at all. This works for telemarketer, solicitors, and so-called surveyors as well. The one thing none of them can abide is to be ignored. If you prevent any contact whatsoever; they lose, you win. When you answer a call or listen to or read a message; the harasser smiles and you become frustrated.  If you answer and immediately hang-up or delete any message; you smile and the harasser becomes frustrated. Right?

I am a teacher who has worked in a residential treatment facility for over 10 years. I received a call from a former student, who is now 24, at school. She informed me that she had not been taking her medication and was currently in a state institution until August. I checked the web to see the number that she called from and if she was telling the truth, so I believe some of the previous posts that say that this number is for the public departments for the state of Arizona. The number is probably used so to maintain confidentiality, as many companies do. So I assume that it could be from any department in Arizona and that number is just the line that shows up.

There was a very odd message left on my voice mail as if I had known him intimately.  Not good.  No clue.

This is the number that appears on caller id when any Arizona state agency calls. They all use the same id number.

The person that called today stated they were from the AZ Attorney General's office regarding back taxes?!

Got a ohone call  tje man on the phone says he from irs  is thus so and so i tell him yes then tells me to hang for a mintue and puts me on hold then next thing i know is hans up

I called back and it said I had reached a mail box and it was not possible to leave a message.

I have tried to call this number 3 tmes and after it rings over 15 times I just hang up ->>!

Just called me in the middle of the night. Of course I didn't answer it cause I was sound asleep. Listened to the voicemail and it was just some beeps. I tried to call it back and it said the mailbox was full and I couldn't leave a message. I live in WI so I have no connections in AZ.Damn annoying people!

I got a call at 3am I answer nothing of coures. It calls back I answer the same thing. I call it back , al I got was thar this number is indef.not taking incomeing calls good bye.Why would an State call somone so late at night?....

In my case it is the Adult Protective Services calling back on a report I filed, but the message left asked that I call back at a different number because this 602-542-0006 is the outgoing number displayed by any department of the state government services and can't be called back. So the call you got would be a state agency but which one, well there are many...CPS, Food Stamps, Dept of Revenue, Police....anything.

well you probably got busted for absuin someone because it is the Adult Protection Services who called you and you was probably reported for some reason. Maybe by now your in jail where your sorry a$$ belongs.

This IS a general AZ gov number. The call I received was a department looking for someone who used me as a reference. If you have a need to receive a call from the State of AZ, put this number in your address book and answer it... The state employee was nice enough...

I got the same thing when I tried calling back!!!

I don't know if this a scam or not but after I talked to the guy and declined whatever offer my spermy had offered. However, about 5 mins after I got off the phone w/that guy the spermy text me with a nasty text. So it maybe legit!!
